This is actually my first post.

Hey, I'm StripeyDope. I may not seem like much, but I can hack a shitload of games. I've hacked all the NES Megamans, SMB, SMB3, and I've made a couple maps in Counter-Strike Source. I have only been hacking SMW for a week or two, but I'm pretty sure I've got it down.

Don't expect me to make shitty hacks, my previous experience will see to that.

I hope to have a great time here at SMWC.

Gradius III's final boss (all you had to do was be in the right place and do nothing.

SMB
NSMB

Just go back and get a hammer/switch.

SM64

Grabbing someone's tail isn't as hard as you might think.

I play Counter-Strike: Source, and it's not an overrated FPS, but...

Yep, I feel for you, dude.

This would require ASM, and not only is it frustrating to the player, there is really no inventive puzzle or gimmick to go with it. Think of something else.

I was first introduced to emulation with ZSNES, but since then I've been using Snes9x for it's wider array of features.

I use Snes9x for TASing games, which I do too!

I use ZSNES for nostalgia and for testing my SMW hacks.

NES - FCEUX 2.1.4
SNES - look at the post
N64 - Project 64 1.7 & Mupen64 v8 (for recording videos)
GBx - Visual Boy Advance 1.8.0 beta3

Wow, those fake HDMA gradients look really nice! Also I'd pick the third GH palette.

Yeah, but what OP was saying is he's tired of hearing about it. He never said anything about hating any FPSes. And I personally own a buch of FPSes myself (Half-Life, Black, Counter-Strike, Blood) and I play all of them regularly.

Ah, thank you, man! IDK how to use HDMA, so this really helped! =]

Because everyone wants to be better than the VGI.

Also, no one has time for "kaizo/platform hell" because they can't spend their hard-earned time trying to complete said "kaizo/platform hell." Seriously, dude, go a couple rounds with Kaizo World (which is hard because of bad level design) and then go a couple rounds with Megaman or Contra, games that are actually hard because of GOOD level design.

If you didn't know, Nintendo took HUGE precautions for game-genies to be ineffective in a clever way, without messing up games themselves. A good example is for the GBA, GG'ing your Pokemon FireRed (or whatever you play) prevents you from beating the game. It no longer detects your badges before Victory Road IIRC.

The perfect mix of Zelda and Disney characters with a Halo mechanic.

I say Halo because in Halo's co-op mode, if you die, you can respawn as long as your buddy stays alive. This feature is in Goof Troop. If you die, your buddy can go to the next screen and there you can respawn.

God, sooooo many hours were spent on this game with my brother.

Yeah, you can't defeat him. What you are supposed to do is get your health down to 1 bar then Zero will come in and save the day.

Yonowaaru is right. it is like Mother Brain's ub3r laser. You have to get your health down to 01 energy.

I have no idea why there is green on there. I saved it as a GIF.

I still need some help.

I'm trying to insert player ExGFX for Yoshi, but it wont let me. LM never detects it. How can I get Lunar Magic to detect this ExGFX?

I followed the instructions exactly.

Watch this and figure out what the hell happened. By far the most entertaining game of soccer I've ever watched.

Black for PS2. It is a short game, but it's the most realistic shooter I've ever played this side of CoD:MW2!

Hey!

As of right now, my hack is unnamed, but here's the story:

Mario has fractured his skull because he hit his head on too many question blocks. Luigi is on vacation and will "only come back if [he] absolutely [has] to." Peach is on Mario's bedside and will not leave. Therefore, it's up to Yoshi to find a doctor!

But, this isn't as easy as one might think. Bowser is long gone by now. His minions have capitalized on this situation not by taking Peach (again), but by taking all the egg capsules. in the Mushroom Kingdom! They think if there's no medicine to aid Mario, the poor plumber will die.

Fortunately, he will not. But if Yoshi takes too long, Mario will have to spend the rest of his life as a vegetable. So is Yoshi against the clock, or a shitload of enemies?

Find out all this and more, in The Wild Egg Capsule Chase!

Took down all the screenies because they are obsolete and the levels and such are much better now.

Well, the Yoshi GFX....thank Icegoom for that.

And what would be a good palette? I'm trying not to use the originals.

--------------------
You know me if you know me.
I never got the chance to say,"Damn, this hack looks like there was effort actually put in it," so I'm going to say it.

Damn, this hack looks like there was effort actually put in it.

But seriously, this hack looks awesome, and I am going to be looking forward to this one.

As for the Cutman battle, is that just a GFX edit of the Boomerang Bro?

I suggest putting it as a world 1 or 2 miniboss, then throw it in as a normal enemy towards the later worlds.

Doh! Thanks for clarifying that palette problem! I'll fix that ASAP!

Thanks for the feedback!
