You are using the wrong slot to put the ExGFX in. I believe the piranha plant stem uses SP2, not FG1-3 or BG.
Todays updates are Yoshi's special moves and unlockable level editor terrain, including conveyor belts and rotating platforms.
I hate people who have no idea what the question they are answering is.

Dottedboy, you first set the exit index for the first pipe. Then set a new exit index for the second pipe, and for destination set the first pipe's exit index. Lastly, set the destination for the first pipe to be the second pipe's exit index.

Did you mess with the first page of the map16.

I think the tides check block 000 and act like it.

I have done experiments with it before, and on layer two levels, it makes all layer two tiles after screen 00 tile 000 and every screen after 0F is filled with 000 tiles if it isn't a layer 2 level.
1. BG start position should almost always match FG start position (The only exceptions are for special layer 2 scroll sprites.)

2.Just extend the hole, and, if necessary, add a small platform.

Just open block tool and remove the accidentally inserted block from the list. Then save it back to the rom. That should work, but if it doesn't, transfer everything you want to keep from that rom to a new rom.

Also, Citrus, layer 3 uses tiles in the map 16. Try changing the tile acts like setting for tile 000 to 25. The tides won't let you swim in them anymore.
The original super mario world checked to see if you had a second controller and made player 2 use player 1's controller if the was no controller in slot 2.
Change the GFX used by those parts back to how they originally were.

If that would screw anything else up, change the tiles used by the other things.
I don't think the overworld editor has that option.

Yes you can. Just change the hex value at x2C9BC to A9 08 EA.
Give that piece priority. If an object has priority, it goes in front of everything (most of the time).
Wrong forum. Also, YY-CHR can view the GFX in roms if they aren't compressed.
The mushroom top uses it, other pipes use it, bushes, and the green switch palace switch and blocks, to name a few.

Also, you can set lunar magic so that it doesn't automatically change the screen size when it saves levels (it is under options). I wouldn't recommend deactivating it though. The max screen amount is in hex, so the actual max is 32 screens.
