Friction is a property of how two surfaces interact. Besides it also depends on the surface finish of the two objects in contact with each other (Smoother lesser friction), lubricated or not (is there water, oil or something else between them), how much area of the 2 objects are in contact with each other (a marble sitting on same surface as a brick will experience much lower friction) and so on.

My friend bought Skate 3, but didn't like it, so hes letting me borrow it, but I don't have the activate code to play online or download parks.

I want to download custom graphics. I went to the online graphics sharing app, even selected what I wanted, and clicked send to game. My game does not find it, whether it is in Brand Logos, or Team Logos. I know I have to go into Merchandise>Skateboards>Decks>Customizab… Board> Add Team Logo... But I cant find what I've sent anywhere! Do I have to have this activate code JUST to get these custom graphics on my board?

My computer was not refreshing my list so I had to close the graphics editor and re-open it in order for the list to refresh.

Scroll the cursor over your graphic in the landing and it will bring up a list of options.

Select publish and answer the next few questions, it asks you more than once if you want to send it to the console so make sure that you select send both times.

Once you have sent the graphic, wait a few minutes in order for the picture to be sent to your console.

After a few minutes, go to the Edit Skater tab from the pause menu. Press Y to "Change Team Logo"

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the list of graphics. Lo and Behold! Your graphic should be at the bottom of the list.

In save files where you've beaten World 8, you can try NSMB's Challenge mode, which doesn't let you scroll to the left or downward, depending on the stage. Turn on Challenge mode by pressing Start on the map screen, followed by L R L R X X Y Y. When you enter the code, a message welcoming you to Challenge mode will appear, along with an arrow icon in the upper-right corner of the map screen. A red arrow icon means that the stage will have scrolling limitations. For unbeaten stages, auto-scrolling stages, and a few others, the arrow icon will be gray, which means that they won't be affected by Challenge mode. If you get stuck and can't remember what the welcome message told you, don't move for 40 game seconds and another message will appear to remind you that you can press Start and choose "Return to map" to leave the stage. Back on the map screen, you can turn off Challenge mode with the same code.
