Here's my 5th level that I been working on:

I will add coin bridge at 3:50 so you have to hit the p-switch later then what I did.

Also, what other levels should I improve beside the battle ship one.
There is only 2 ways I can think of that can crash your rom without anything custom.

1. You have a vertical fireball in your level and you didn't turn on sprite buoyancy.

--or--

2. Lunar Magic gave you a warning about you having too many sprite in your level.

Also, you should anyways start the level from the over world if you made changes to it, and don't load save-states to a level that you already edit.

Plus, did you apply a .ips patch to it and then try to make changes to it?
To create a ips file:

1. open up "Lunar IPS"

2. click on create ips patch

3. select a smw rom that you did not edit

4. select your rom hack

5. save the ips file

To apply a ips file to a SMW rom that you did not edit:

1. open up "Lunar IPS"

2. click on apply ips patch

3. select the ips file you want to use

4. select a smw rom that you did not edit

Sometimes there is still electricity running though the wire or wall outlet. Even though they do need consent power, a blackout that didn't even last a second may not restart the computer in time.
Dawn: Good so far but if you can, you should make it so when Mario touches the cloud it disappear, or better, causes a explosion:D.

I don't know how to do it but it will look cool.

Also, I'm making the battleship level in my hack a lot harder then it's now. The gimmick in the level is that Mario got a broken leg so he can't jump. So he have to use the bullet bills or any other enemies to reach higher ground.

Did anyone made a video of them playing the level "snarly" in C|C without slowdown? If not I may do a let's play for it. Don't worry I will ask permission first:P.

Kaizokoban: Cool levels but I somewhat like the castle level a little bit more because it's not as much glitch abusing. Also find something to replace those cement blocks. Seeing them stack like that looks ugly, but good levels never the less.

That because you can't jump in the level. So spin-jumping is impossible in the level unless I use noteblocks and spin jump off of those.

Is this to hard? It's possible without slowdown but it feel like luck to me.

You do the same thing in a other level and there is a hint about it in the message block.

Also, I'm done with the update, the download is in my signature called, "SMW - Burning in Hell update".

Save files you have for the hack may work because I only made the changes in the levels.

algorithmshark: I think you can but it is highly unlikely to do it in x1 speed. Unless you are aiming at pit difficulty, don't use force wall-jumps.

Actually, I made the skull-death blocks for my hack. xKBBx's skull-death blocks skulls are smaller then my skulls.

Also, I know you not working on your "Shells and springboards" hack, but I was able to break the 3rd level with the Yoshi.

Yeah I kind of figure that out:P.

Also, I doubt you would believe me, but I was able to beat your first 4 levels without slowdown (your 4th level was a pain).

Any comments on this?

Youtube videos play fine. Just sometimes Google chrome is using 100% of CPU for no reason.

No I'm using youtube's adobe flash player.

Also, I'm using Firefox and CPU usage is pretty decent (it's around 10%).
This was a one level Kaizo hack called "pit of 100 trails". I stop due of it being poorly design in some sections but some I liked (section 8 for example).

Is there a way To record Zsnes gameplay in High Quality? Because for some reason my recordings when done dumping look really bad (256 by 224 in resolution).
I'm working on a rom hack that is not kaizo for once, and try to aim for "The lost levels" difficulty. I only got one level done right now but I'm planning of maybe 30 levels. Here's a preview of the first level.

Also, I'm calling my hack "The lost World" but I think the name is not creative. If you can come up with a better name for it let me know.
Fixed the dragon coin cutoff and made the level darker.

Some things I will change in the level is the Hammer Bro throwing speed and move the Ceiling up a tile.

The only reason I'm doing videos for some levels because I'm a bit worry about the difficulty. I want hard but don't want kaizo hard. Also, how good is the level design?
Instead of killing Mario. What about a Yoshi coin or some sort of bonus if Mario takes the upper path?
How are you suppose to get though that tiny gap? Mario can't fit in without killing himself? Yes I can just bring a mushroom but I doubt you suppose to do that.



Are you even suppose to do this?



What I did is that Mario clipped onto the turn block (like wall-jumping), but because I spin-jumped while big. I was able to break it.
