1. Make sure your threads/posts can spark a decent discussion.
This rule is the most important. The purpose of the General Discussion forum is to allow users to have a laugh, express their opinions, or just casually discuss a topic. When writing a thread, consider whether or not it will start a valuable conversation. Keep in mind that there's a difference between a trash post that serves no purpose and a "silly" post.
Even if it's more of a silly thread than anything, there isn't any real discussion that can come out of this. It's just begging for low-effort, spammy replies and as such I'm going to have to close this.
Jasko, you've been told before to keep this to the Hack Assistance Thread, and to stop spamming the forums with this one same request. If you haven't been answered yet, chances are that it's because no one has the answer for you. Be patient or just leave it be.
To get a little personal: my stepdad is definitely one of the people that has shaped a large chunk of my personality. I didn't even notice it until recently just how much I get from him—the habit of constantly poking fun at people close to me as a form of bonding is something that I liked about him from the very beginning, so I guess I subconsciously mimicked that as I got older. Along with that, he and I also share a lot of the same passiveness when it comes to conflict. Still not sure if that's a good thing or not, but it's an undeniable part of me at this point.
You've most likely already seen this thread idea in other places by now, but I still think it'd be fun to have the same discussion here too. While the decade is not entirely over at this point in time, I think it's close enough that it won't really matter to any measurable degree when it comes to our decisions?
What are some of your guys' favorite games that have released since 2010?
- Remakes/remasters are generally discouraged by me, but if you truly can't come up with ten games otherwise then so be it.
- Explaining your choices is entirely optional, but feel free!
- If it's a game that was playable before 2010 but was officially released after the fact, then it still counts.
Michigan finally announced a shelter-at-home order today that will be lasting three weeks. Originally spent this morning making the difficult decision to stay at my girlfriend's house during the length of this thing, but then right as we were arriving at her house we got a text from her mom saying that her dad (who we spent the last week with) woke up with a bad cough and fever today. While it could be something benign, I'm sort of kinda panicking already.
