Cheetahmen 2. I'm shocked that it hasn't been done yet.

I don't like this level as much as my others, but it's still fun. I made the yoshi coins a bit harder to get this time, too. I think I'm going to start organizing a full hack, but that's something I dread doing. If anybody's got room for one more, I'd be happy to do some level designing for you... pretty please?

I've seen it a billion times before, but I still watch it every time someone posts it (which has been a lot lately, for some reason). It's just so fucking amazing. I'd like to hear what it sounds like with just the sounds and no music, though.

This wonderful old thing :)

Probably this. Or maybe we'll all be hacking SM64.

Some of the sprites are doing really weird things. For example, fuzzies and gray falling platforms will be invisible, but still technically there; the end of a green floating platform that goes on forever will disappear, but still be solid; the left side of a brown platform on a chain will turn into a cloud when stepped on; brown line-guided platforms and checkered falling platforms will move as soon as they come into view and won't wait for me to touch them, etc. etc.I NEED to fix this.

No. If it's horizontal, just put a cement block over the top part of the entrance. It won't look as good, but small Mario will fit and big Mario won't.

Pieguy, it looks good, but it looks like it uses one of the frames from the original ? block, which makes it look kinda weird.

A work in progress. I almost never see high & low tides, so I'm using them in a level of my own. The first two screens are actually at mid-tide, not high-tide (it starts out like that). I tweaked the porcupuffer to be invincible, but you can still spin-jump on it, which I should probably fix...
I wonder if a custom block that raises/lowers the tide would be possible... Sitting in one spot and waiting for the tide to go down isn't much fun, but this has some potential.

PF1's ending made it obvious there was going to be a sequel, but I didn't know it was going to be so soon. The link to the beta isn't working, though...

Would TSRP2 fit into the category of Hard or Very Hard? I may just suck, but I had to use a lot of savestates, and I'm still not finished...

Couple pages late, but oh well.

Nope. Just a custom palette. I'm going for a more minimalist approach, kinda like Pandemonium Fortress, but I might need a custom block to change the water level. Tides are too damn slow.

I made it go down to the bottom. And my name isn't Rasto anymore, by the way.

@TooManyToast- That level looks nice. Amazing actually... porcupuffer is an underrated sprite.

I know, but I don't know why. It's awesome, and used with tides, it's even better. I'm gonna try using more underused ideas for my levels. I'm trying to make something simple but different.
...How many times a day do you change your freakin' username?

@Dagx: That level actually looks kinda... meh. The second part didn't have a custom palette, and the overworld music was bleh. I still have high hopes for PF2, though.

@Sora: So much stuff... so much bright red... it's hard to tell what's what. At least tone down the palette a bit.

@DaKing: I like it. Is that Eggman's face in the mountain on the left?

Wow, great title screen!!! I definitely love your title, looking forward to play your hack!

@Sora: Nice, but some palettes burn my eyes. I think you could edit the BG's palette a bit, make it a bit more different of the FG's palette.

Should i Lower the Palette Background and foreground?

FG; the BG palette looks nice already. Also, it says in your sig that it's not going to have custom music. You should use one of the custom music patches in the Patches section. You'll need to make the .msc yourself, but that's pretty easy with Admmusic Made Easy. Or you could just write the song names down on a piece of paper or something. Trust me, the only thing worse than using SMW music is using SMB3 music.

Excellent. I had a few gripes, though...
-In Uphill Struggle, horizontal scrolling was enabled in the bonus room, and the pipe kills you when you come out at the end.
-The second overworld has green water for ground. It looks... really weird.
-The second overworld's music sucks. Period.
Putrid Puddle was a little too bland.
-The Great Boo fight was hard. Really hard. Very fun and unique, but it calls for serious savestate abuse.
-You needed to be big to get past the second flying hammer bro in Pipeline. I tried to do it as small Mario, but you can't kill it without hitting one of his hammers or falling into the pit.
-What's the music you used in Pipeline, it's REALLY familiar, but I can't put my finger on it...

I tried that, actually... it just went right through him. Hammer bros have screwy hit detection.
Oh, and Shift Castle or whatever it was called is a massive win in every way possible.

This may be a bit old, but oh well. I wonder if this would work with SMW hacks... It says to use Donkey Kong Country, but Super Mario World would obviously be better in this case. It's an extremely complicated process, and I haven't even finished reading it let alone tried it, but if it works... oh man.

The only ROM I've injected so far is Super Smash Brothers using Sin and Punishment. I only do this for the N64 games since there isn't really an emulator for the Wii yet. >_>

There's a what? Screw it then, I'll just use that. I didn't know there was such a thing.
