Can anyone make the YI Kamek?
NO EXTRA BIT: acts like normal, but fires 2 times
EXTRA BIT SET: flys on Broom. (Much like the flying Kamek on the first area of King Bowser's Castle on YI)

Hey, I just got 1 question, any way I can make Magickoopa the way he looks like on the screen shot of Hunter's Revenge, becuase I dont like the way Magickoopa looks.

Why would it need to by Dynamic?

Becuase

1. Dynamic Sprites work Really GOOD.
2. They might need alot more GFX than NonDynamic Sprites

They dont have to be Dynamic, its just that Dynamic Sprites can also be used on ANY level without a certian SP unless it requires it like the YI Ptooie.

Maybe smwedit might do it, but I'm sure lots of People (hackers might want it) So if you do Schwa, you can make it if it is not too hard.

Ok, I'll try making the tick, since I don't really feel like making any of those custom (not in any real game) requests right now, or whatever was in my custom title for a short period of time. I might make one that isn't dynamic, and I also might make a dynamic version


If you could, I know you arent taking sprite requests, but you are the BEST YI Sprite maker I have seen, and if its not too hard, could you make the YI Baseball Boys? Hmm, I would really appreciate that.

A little birdie told me that it was RETARDED to make the Blowhard the first Sprite in the game, okay, that was a little strong. Listen, I waited for a LONG TIME for that sprite and I will place how I wish. This is the first time I have not OVERUSED a NEW sprite like I always do. It took 10 days and 16 roms to put that blowhard in and make it work right this time, without someones help.

The secondary entrance was fixed on a previous rom and I had to transfer my levels to a new ROM and I forgot to fix the secondary entrance on level 1. This is the best hack I have got to do with S.C.O.R.P.I.O.N. (curse that long NAME!) and I feel like we might get far with this one.

My points made, and I told S.C.O.R.P.I.O.N. not to make those GFX becuase I saw them on your hack FPI, but he would not listen.

I will not give up on this game and I will go far.

Can anyone tell me how to make smwedit's SMB3Nipper Plant shoot alot of fireballs TOWARDS mario like on SMB3. (that sprite was only used once on the real game)

You're better off making a brand new sprite for that instead of basing it off the SMB3 Nipper. They're set up entirely different-- they just happen to use the same graphics.

The concept for that would be to, every x frames, check to see if Mario is within a certain range, and set the Y Register to 00 if he is. Otherwise, check for a wider range, and if he's in that range set Y to 01. Otherwise check for an even WIDER range, set Y to 02 if positive, otherwise set Y to 03.

Then, check to see if Mario is to the left of the sprite, and if he is, add 4 to the Y register.

Set up an 8-value Table that has the possible X speeds of the fireball. The first 4 should be going to the right, starting with the lowest value and going to the highest. The next 4 values should be for the leftward movement (which means from FF to 80), again, slowest to fastest.

Then, in the fireball-shooting routine, when you're setting the fireball's X speed, have it select the X speed from the Table as an index of Y.

This should produce the exact same effect as in SMB3, as long as you set the Table values correctly. It would take some experimentation, plus you actually have to write the code too, so...

Oh, by the way, you can copy the code from my Shower Panser's fireball routine for a quick way to get it to shoot a fireball. Just change the RNG speed chooser with your Distance-Table speed chooser.

The rest is the easy part. :)

This level is somewhere on the FOURTH World and it need to be hard in my book. I will correct the problems you said. Thanks for putting it in a list. As you know, I finished my part on the SMB SCORPION's Flash. This hack was started BEFORE Mario: The Third Sector and it is still in the beta mode.

I for one think that this is a great hack, some bugs and the outline thing is noticable. Im not saying this b/c I've worked with you for a couple of hacks, but this hack has true immagination. Try working out some bugs and fix that dynamic bug thing, k buddy.
