wow, this change is gonna be real hard to get used to. i hope the new guys do a great job at keeping the site alive though.
While placing a yellow shell next to a koopa without its shell works perfectly fine, I was wondering if there was any way you could just spawn the kamikaze/rainbow koopa directly?

I don't see why not, as long as the difficulty jump from level 4 to level 5 is smooth then there shouldn't be a problem with most players. Personally, I would add a lot of powerups as chain chomps can be a bit tough to deal with (due to their more unpredictable nature)

Sometimes I leave in unfinished/unused levels in the hack, and I leave a message box as a bonus. Typically I love to have various crude messages, insults, copypastas, the like. I think I may of found a secret message once before, but it was so many years ago yknow? I wouldn't remember
i have a layer 3 graphic that i want to appear behind layer 2. i checked the box to "move layer 3 to subscreen" and also installed the patch so it doesn't affect the status bar. and for a while it actually worked ingame! it wasnt until about an hour or two later that when i reopened the hack to playtest it, layer 3 stays in front of layer 2 and it refuses to go behind it again.
