It would be a tie between custom bosses and patches. For bosses even though there's a lot of overused and not well designed bosses at times bosses are like my favorite thing in video games so I always enjoy seeing custom ones especially in a Mario game which normally doesn't have good boss battles. As for patches they seem to change how the gameplay of the hack works the most so I always find it interesting when a hack differs from the usual Mario formula.

Basically what Skewer said. Posting progress here on the site would probably help prevent a lot of people from asking about progress. Even if it's hardly any at all it's better then months of hearing nothing right? Just going to take it that no progress is being made until we actually see something.

One day, it's gonna come out.

The confidence in this post is strong! Anyways, a Zombie release may not solve it's problems but it would certainly help us all move on from this collab which nobody seems to give a shit about anymore wouldn't it? Based on your post it doesn't seem like releasing it would be much better either at this point as the hype is long gone and as I said nobody cares. a zombie release would relieve everyone who is struggling to get this finished.

Edited: Ninja'd twice.

I don't think you should "always" design your levels in order and instead design them in the order you feel comfortable with. There are advantages to both. For example if you're designing levels in order you might restrict yourself because you might not have the ideas to execute the next level and then you begin holding your hack up. If you are designing you're levels out of order you might risk screwing up the difficulty curve or the progression of the hack. Personally I try to design my levels in order but I don't restrict myself as if I have an idea of a future level I'll begin working on it while the inspiration is still there.
