Probally the best thing would be a combination of bones from other things and black...whatever it would be from outside the muncher. Considering the planed place for the level (towards the end of the stalk) seeing a mixture of green and black would fit in just fine.Eh, sure. Why not? Offsetting tiles should be pretty easy if you understand how a sprite's graphics routine works.

In a normal sprite graphics routine, you might see something like this. $00 holds the sprite's x position on the screen; you can think of it as the sprite's origin (with $01 being the y position of the origin). To draw a tile in a different spot, you want to offset it from the origin.
The code up there offsets the x position by 10 before storing to the OAM. So, whatever tile that would be would be 16 pixels to the right of the sprite's origin. You can manipulate the x and y position of sprite tiles all you want before storing to the OAM.
Thats not exactly what I wanted, I wanted to know why the rex's head and body tiles are not "normally alligned" as opposed to, say a koopa.
