i get alot of ideas for castle levels from buildings in venice and other places of the sort.
right now, i want to make a town-level inspired from downtown paris, france.

This is my first appearance sharing anything with SMWCentral and I'm a little nervous.
Anyway, I've been making slow progress with this hack, as I am still not very good at SMW hacking.
Regardless, I am ready to show off a few screenshots.
All graphics are hand-drawn except for the obvious SMW graphics.
The protagonist of the game is a traitorous soldier once allied with The Brotherhood of the Hammer (Hammerbro's). He is un-named as of yet.
His sprite graphics are also hand-drawn and are near completion in both big and little form.
Aside from an embryonic storyline and a few ideas in mind, I feel like the artwork is the best thing going for this project for the moment.

I've been following this hack for a hot minute and I'm really stoked that there's a demo out now. I played it all the way through and it didn't disappoint. The castle stage is brilliant, I must say. Even if it tore me a new asshole a couple of times.
The graphics are very well placed and aesthetically pleasing. I was bummed to reach the end of the demo.
There's only one minut thing that bothered me. In the level, "...Hello, Adventure", in the cave after the mid-way goal, there's a spot where a koopa hucks a shell out of nowhere, giving the player little to no time to react. I feel as though it's nearly impossible to dogde unless the player knows of it ahead of time.

Guitar is my primary instrument. I play and do growl-vocals for my black metal band called [redacted]. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone here though, since it's very harsh metal.
I'm getting better at the drums and I can sing, but I haven't had any reason to sing in a while. These days, it's mostly harsh growling vox, which I doubt anyone here counts as singing. lolMy layout has removed you.
