The "Drought" link is actually a full EP. Kudos for listening to the whole thing.
Believe it or not, DsO started out as raw traditional black metal. In 2004, they released an album called "Si Monumentium Requires Circumspice", which was still very much black metal with more polished recording production and some of the abnormal qualities that more define their sound today. After that album, they went all out avant-garde/prog/blackmetal/whatever.

By the way, Hadron, that song was pretty damn cool. The vocals did remind me of Haken, as well. There were alot of YT comments blabbing about how they didn't like the vocalist, but I had no problems upon listening.

Here is a progressive metal piece for your earvaginas. The sole member of this band, Ron Jarzombek, hammers out some insane guitar work.

So, here's my deal. I draw graphic tiles, sprites, and all that good stuff from scratch in MS paint. And, of course, that requires some modification of the palettes once they're transfered into YY-CHR.

This is where I'm getting a bit uncomfortable. How do you guys usually go about editing palettes. How do you know you're not fucking up colors in all sorts of other places in the game?

I guess what I'm trying to ask is what tips you have to give me for efficiently organizating the colors without messing too much stuff up. Or, is it just a tedious trial and error/troubleshooting process with no easy way around it?

I'm editing Mario's graphics right now.
So, in Lunar Magic, when I click the green mushroom to insert the GFX, it tells me that they are stored in 3bpp format and that I need to extract them and re-insert them as 4bpp format.
What does this mean and how do I do that?

I'm not really much into tech-death, but Necrophagist is fucking ace.
Muhammed Suiçmez is a god. He pretty much IS Necrophagist. The entire debut album is all him on guitar, bass, vox, and drum programming.
Some of his riffs remind me of playing old Castlevania games.

I put some my custom ExGfx into the first level and all was well, but then I inserted some other ExGfx into the next level and upon revisiting the first level, Mario just fell through the ground and died.

What caused this and what can I do about it?
