I've read the new rules I didn't use classic piranha plant or custom music or anything so it looks like mine is in compliance with the new rules so here's my submission again. http://bin.smwcentral.net/40612/SockbatReplicaVanilla2011.ips

You know those brown bobbing lava/water platforms? I'd like to see one of them that moves to the right with the same bobbing motion when you jump on it. It'd be like the skull raft, but more unstable. I think it's been disassembled too, so it should be as easy as fiddlign with $B6,x.
For levels that use layer 3 tide how about also a brown bobbing platform that moves left with the tide like the yellow spiked balls do.
In addition to my original level for this contest I hope you don't mind but I figured since it looks like your the only judge for this contest I also included in the same hack my submission for your other level design contest that you started yesterday. If this is going to be a problem I can resubmit the levels as two separate hacks.
I know your talking about the SMB3 kind but speaking of Hammer Bro's. I also like the SMW ones that are stationary that Sonikku made that you can place on top of question blocks and such. I like placing them on the other side of pirahna plant pipes or something that makes you wait while he throws hammers at you.
@Unnamed by Sockbat Replica: The title screen opens, a horrendous palette mess. Unedited level, but it has white and toxic-yellow/green/brown hills, and other ugly crap. Now, I enter the level. The palette is just as bad. Now I think the creator might have wanted to pull off a NES vibe, since most graphics only have 2 or 3 shades, but it wasn't executed well, and it really just looks like watercolors after you use them a bunch and it all gets mixed and it's all dark and gray. Once you get passed the nasty, unwelcoming palette, though, it's a pretty decent level actually. A fun rope/log level with hotheads and bowser statues. After a period of time you reach a pipe which leads to the goal sphere room, but if you pass the pipe instead of entering it you reach a small- I wouldn't call it a puzzle- a... P-switch only obtainable through a small obstacle of reaching a springboard. However, I have no idea what to do with the switch so that's no good. Again, decent level if you're colorblind, or don't give a damn about palettes. Nice work, Sockbat Replica(I'm really curious about the backstory behind your name).
Yeah I haven't really been using Lunar Magic for very long and there's still a lot of things I'm learning to do. The palettes it wasn't that I was trying to pull off an "NES vibe" more that I just didn't really know what I was doing and that's what came out. As for my name it's a combination of Wooldoor Sockbat a character from Comedy Central's now cancelled show Drawn Together and the album Trout Mask Replica by 60s jazz composer Captain Beefheart.
I know the contestant list is supposed to be closed but I don't see why Courptendo shouldn't let you sign up and make a level anyways I mean it's not like this contest is absolutely OVERFLOWING with submissions to the point that there is absolutely no room for one more.
