Tip: Switch palace switches normally disappear if you replay the level. However, if you insert them as direct Map16 and use the hex-edit at $00EEB2 in the ROM map, you can replay the level without a problem.
Alright one of the advantages of doing overworlds last is if I decided to add three ice themed levels to world 2 (which is predominately a water themed world.) then I'm free to do so. Although I'm planning on adding 3 levels to world 2 only one of them is complete so here's some screens:

I just noticed this but are you having mario start out on a ghost house? That's cool. Is it an actual level or is the ghost house just gonna be a "Yoshi's House" kinda level and that two exit one is gonna be the actaul first level?
Just tell me what kind of a level and what level # you want it saved in as well as any sublevels you wish for me to use.
EDIT: Also I guess you should also tell me what MAP16 page to use since you already seem to have some MAP16 stuff going on that I wouldn't want to muck up.. Also I'm assuming since you don't know how to insert custom sprites/gfx yet you'll want me to make this level entirely vanilla.
Actually to second Evilguy this hack is looking pretty good. I have to say the OW is especially impressive. I like how non linear it is there's like three secret levels before you get to the yellow switch.
Personally I don't care for boss gauntlet's I find them cheap. But if they are bosses that the player didn't already fight then I guess that isn't too bad. I hate games though that at the end of the game make you fight a bunch of bosses you already fought. Also I think if we're going to have 4 bosses they should be spread out throughout the final castle so they aren't all at once kinda like in Megaman 3 when you had to fight the Megaman 2 bosses again you'd have a bit of level then a boss battle and then a bit of level again and then another boss battle.
I got the chance to read on your oppinion and glad you like it but if I may put in another 2 cents:
2. I saw someone say that there should be Level -> Boss -> Level -> Boss Etc. for a final level/boss and I think that would be neat.
Yeah because then the bosses could get progessively harder and how many midways do you get with the multiple midway patch I've never used it?.. Anywho if you get enough midways you could apply the patch and have one midway after each boss so then if you want 4 bosses which isn't a bad idea it would be level -> boss -> midway -> level -> boss -> midway until the last boss which will be the super hard one.
Let me know if you accept this or if there's anything you want me to change. The boss door just leads you to Iggy right now because I don't know what you want for a boss. Also let me know if/when you want another level out of me.
