I happened to find this on Anas' Discord in storage_house; it's a disassembly of Lakitu that EternityLarva made (you'll probably need to tweak this to make Lakitu throw a customizable sprite instead of Spiny eggs).
I haven't personally tried it, but you can take a look at it if you wish.
Name: Change Mario's form on death if he is in a specific form
Type: Patch
Description: A patch that changes the death routine slightly, so that if Mario is in a specified form before death, that losing a life causes him to become a different form instead of Small Mario when dying. Of course, I'd still like the death routine for other forms to remain vanilla please (becoming or still being Small Mario when dying), and I'm also hoping Mario will still revert back to Small Mario at the map if he has lives remaining, regardless of what form he was in when he last lost a life.
References: I've got a screenshot of an "emulation" of what I'm hoping to do here, though I used the Action Replay code 7E00190B here (which in this case only works properly if lx5's custom powerups are applied). It would be nice if I could re-create the below screenshot without needing the code above.
Anyway, thanks in advance.
Name: Splitting Podoboo
Type: Sprite
Description: A Podoboo that upon reaching the height it is set to, turns into a bunch of fireballs that spread out evenly left and right and fall back down (maybe 4 or 6), like the Bombombomb from the first Mega Man game. Maybe this behavior could be added to the Podoboo disassembly? Oh, if anyone decides to claim this, putting in code to make the little fireballs immune to the cape is optional.

Here's a wiki page with information on how the Bombombomb works.
Thanks in advance.
Answer to the previous question: I don't really have a favorite video game as there are so many I like playing, including Super Mario World.
Next question: If you had a book composed solely of your favorite kind of word puzzle (e.g. Sudoku, word seeks, fill-ins, crosswords), what puzzles would you want it to contain?
/\ nope, not at the moment. But the place I go to two days a week is considered educational.
< saw the Super Mario movie earlier this week.
\/ also saw this movie?
I like her classic design personally, it just stands out to me. I'm glad it was used for the Super Mario comics that Deeke posted a picture from (I have an English copy of Super Mario Adventures, which has that picture in it), so thank you for posting that sir.
I gave it a try as well, but I have to agree with MarioFanGamer & LadiesMan217; it's just too bright. IMO it's almost like looking at the sun.
Okay, I've got a little story behind the thing I'd like you to rate, please.
This is my virtual Pokemon plushie collection from a website called The PokeMasters that I am a moderator on, which as you all can see, is really large (I started it back in 2005). I won most of these plushies by playing a Pokemon themed game of Hangman; you see, when one of these puzzles is started, players are given a number of unknown letters (between 3 and 12 letters) by the person doing the puzzle, and they have a limited amount of guesses to win (if too many incorrect guesses are made, a hanging happens, and nobody wins the plushie). Players generally guess letters first, and depending on what letters are in (or absent from) the puzzle, they can then guess a Pokemon if they think they have enough information, and a correct Pokemon guess wins them the plushie, and they get a turn to do a puzzle for others to figure out. Some plushies of mine were birthday plushies that I got on my birthday, and the ones I got where I thanked someone else in brackets were ones I received in a trade. So yeah, these days, it's getting increasingly more difficult for me to get a plushie I don't have, but there's always a chance I'll get a new one when I least expect it.

Jeez, that's a LOT of plushies you have! You even have a bidoof plush! Big respect and damn, it must've taken a lot of dedication to amass such a collection. Keep on collecting! 9/10 Edit: You're lacking the Incineroar plush which is rather unfortunate, but it is what it is.
Thanks! Yes, it absolutely takes dedication to build a collection of virtual Pokemon plushies if it's as big as my collection. I used to have a female rival who had a big collection of plushies (it's not as big as mine, but it is a big collection in its own right) that she called "The Hoard". I haven't seen her in ages, though. These days, my main two rivals in this game are two guys; a Finnish guy who I call Mikachu (it's a shortened version of his username Mikachu Yukitatsu, and an American guy who is a big Star Wars fan; his username is Fett One). This game actually is the most popular game on that forum; new versions of games are posted there once a large amount of posts have accumulated (like 500 for example), and for this game, it's currently on version 101.
As for my current lack of an Incineroar plushie, I'm pretty sure I'll get one someday (I'll let you know if I get one, how's that?).
Okay, I'm gonna request a block pack, if that is okay.
This one is bound to be very popular if made publicly available by you or someone else, anyway, would you consider making some proper triangle blocks that allow Mario to not only run up walls, but also run on ceilings (could a UberASM code rotate Mario's GFX in 90 degree increments when running on a wall or ceiling? I'm very curious. If it's necessary, it can be included with the blocks). Oh, if you decide to tackle this RussianMan, can you please make the blocks 100% compatible with the 32x32 player patch? While Erik made some decent ceiling triangles years ago, they're just a patch that modifies two map16 tiles to turn them into ceiling triangles (it's not in the patches section), plus they didn't really work well with the 32x32 patch (custom Mario forms, like the ones from lx5's custom powerups pack, have a tendency to have messed up GFX when Mario is on a ceiling while in specific custom forms), so there's no need for this variant to be a patch if tackled.
Here's a reference, showing them at work.
A big thanks in advance if you can pull this off.
I have a request, how about a drawing of Link having just pulled the Master Sword from its pedestal, please? As a long-time Zelda fan, that would be pretty cool to see.
Oh well, in that case I'm gonna request something different.
My new request is similar to one you fulfilled for Anorakun, anyway, could you please make a falling spike that upon hitting the ground, breaks into pieces going left and right in arcs that can hurt Mario (they should probably be an extended sprite)? I'm thinking it should break into 4 pieces or so with mirrored arcs, like the falling icicles from Kirby's Dream Land 2's battle with Ice Dragon.
Just seeing that image made my brain hurt.
Sorry 7 up, I just can't give a high rating for it since it freaks me out. 3/10

Oh yeah, you do put the sprite number in that define, but apparently custom sprites aren’t supported… whoops
Oh, I'm quite sure custom sprites can be used with that UberASM code; ModernKiwi, just out of curiosity but were you attempting to use this code with a custom sprite? If so, try changing LDA $9E,x to LDA !7FAB9E,x (just don't put the semi-colon after the x here); that might do the trick for you (I'm not 100% sure though, as I never tried this code).
I have a variant of the Sumo Bro's lightning that spawns just a single flame; even though the height the flame shoots to is still two blocks high, it should work.
Description: An update to the SMB3 Blooper sprite to optionally turn a Blooper Nanny into a Scatter Blooper. A Scatter Blooper works similarly to a Blooper Nanny, but when the player gets close enough, it flashes between two palettes before releasing its babies, which each go in a cardinal direction and disappear after spreading out (the babies should probably be extended sprites, and they can hurt the player). The Scatter Blooper then creates 4 more babies if not killed at this point. Now, there is a tricky part here regarding its death routine; the babies should only fall down with the defeated Scatter Blooper if the current set of them were not released (I *think* that's how its death routine works in SMB3, but I could be wrong).
References: Here's the current SMB3 Blooper, and this YouTube video shows a Scatter Blooper in action, starting from around the 1:21 mark (the Blooper there at that mark is a Scatter Blooper)
Anyway, if someone decides to claim this and update the SMB3 Blooper sprite we already have, can you please try to make the update as accurate to the SMB3 Scatter Blooper as possible? Thanks in advance.
I've never gotten my license, nor do I have a vehicle. I'm kinda with Koopster on the thoughts of ever learning to drive, however I've got my own reasons for not wishing to drive, and they have to do with a couple of past experiences (please don't judge me on this guys; both experiences happened in what I think is the most dangerous season for driving: winter. They both gave me a scare). Anyway, in both experiences, the vehicle I was a passenger in slid out of control on the road while it was covered in snow/ice, and while I wasn't physically hurt in either accident, the second one involved us hitting a cat and ending up in a ditch. We were all okay physically, but the cat was killed (and as a lover of cats, this hit me pretty hard, but nowhere as hard as the loss of our cat here a little over 6 months ago).
Anyway, if nobody minds I'd like to change the subject to something a little more appropriate for this time of year in order to ask a question, has SMWCentral done a secret Santa event before? I'm quite curious.
I'm pretty good; I strongly anticipate I'll complete the Pokedex in both of the Pokemon Let's Go games (Let's Go Eevee, Let's Go Pikachu) just before Christmas comes. I've already got all 8 badges in both games, and the Pokedex is nearly complete in both games (including both Articuno & Zapdos). I'm almost ready for the Pokemon League,
So yeah, I am stoked (and once I complete Let's Go Eevee & Let's Go Pikachu, I'm gonna play the other Pokemon games on the Nintendo Switch not including Scarlet & Violet; I put them on my Christmas wish list so I'm hoping to get them both for Christmas).
You are (presumably) a fan of Adventure Time or some other cartoon with a similar animation style.
/\ not quite.
