Merry Christmas guys (and gals, too)!

My Christmas was my first without our cat Abbie (she had to be put down a little over 6 months ago), but it was still great. We had a white Christmas, and I got four Nintendo Switch games (Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, Sonic Superstars, and strangely enough, TWO copies of Sonic Origins Plus with the artbook. I only opened one copy of that game) among other stuff. I played a little bit of both Scarlet & Violet, and ultimately chose Sprigatito as my "main" starter in both games. Then while playing Pokemon GO, I caught a few Pokemon decked out for Christmas, a couple of Quaxly (I previously sent other Quaxly to the professor after evolving one to a Quaxwell, so I caught two Quaxly to fill that gap), and a shiny Alolan Sandshrew, which was a major surprise to find. So I then sent the two Quaxly, the shiny Alolan Sandshrew, a few Fuecoco, and some other Pokemon I caught in GO to Pokemon HOME, and as of now I've got all three starters in both Scarlet & Violet. It was a great Christmas, and with the money I also got, I'm gonna look into purchasing not only the DLC for Scarlet & Violet, but also the DLC for Sword & Shield.

As for what I ate, I had some turkey as well as some of my grandmother's rolls (I enjoy rolls best when they're buttered and warm). I also had some chocolate, including some strawberry flavoured After Eight mints (an unusual but okay flavour IMO).
Conngratulations guys!

Deppy, after the talk I had with you about the loss of our cat Abbie following the first Pets of SMWC collab, you definitely deserve this promotion, as you certainly helped make it a little easier to get over losing her.

Heyyyy AmperSam! As a fellow Garfield fan (I bet you didn't realize I also like the flabby tabby; I also borrowed a little inspiration from Binky the Clown here as you can see), this is awesome to see. It's always nice to see someone get a promotion.

Good luck guys; SMWCentral is so lucky to have you both (and even moreso now that you two are admins).
I don't think it's a cluster sprite, but you could give this a try if you want.
I really like the snow/ice & jungle rips here, awesome work Rykon-V73! Considering it may be slightly tougher for me to come up with viable FGs & BGs to fit my jungle/forest levels than my snow/ice levels, I'm glad you added to my list of options to consider there, so thanks.
I first met Mario in the World of Super Mario, where Yoshi made his debut to help Mario & Luigi rescue their princess from Bowser.

Which of course is Super Mario World on the SNES, if any of you guys didn't figure it out right away.
To this very day, I've still got my very first video game cartridge (SMW).

I absolutely loved playing through the original version of your SMW2+2 hack, Golden Yoshi (even though I have played more SMW hacks than YI hacks, SMW2+2 still stands out as my favorite YI hack).

Hopefully I'll find time someday to try this new hack; judging by the screenshots alone, it looks pretty awesome.
Can these berries be planted in the ground & watered to produce even more berries after a period of time? Also, can we feed these berries to Pokemon?

Yeah for both, but can't say for sure how long they'll grow if planted.

Okay, well I know of a flawless fertilizer that produces results in as few as 12 hours...or it would be flawless, if not for the fact it only makes one berry. But, if different berries are planted & watered, it can produce a hybrid berry with the best qualities of each individual berry. It's like making a muffin crayon that had multiple colors used to make it.
I hope I'm not too late to make this red hot request. Would you consider making an edit to the Podoboo disassembly to make it split into at least 4 mini fireballs (maybe akin to Jumpin' Piranha Plant fireballs) at the peak of its jump, please? The sprite with the exploding shrapnel from Bomb Man's stage in Mega Man really comes to mind here (it's called a Bombombomb), as shown in this screenshot.

Hopefully this one's not too hot to handle, if so, I'll see if I can come up with something else. Either way, thanks in advance.

Edit: Almost forgot the link to the disassembly.
You've definitely got an ear for making great music, bebn legg!

I especially like Snooker's Snack, Staking Your Life on a Prank, & Nattuggia (the former for its casino vibe, and the latter two for their intensity).

Awesome work!
Cool stuff! I'm very tempted to use at least one of those layer 3 BGs alongside this ASM code I downloaded years ago that reveals hidden passageways like in NSMBWii when the player gets close enough to them (I have to remind myself to check it again sometime, just in case it needs to be tweaked to work), so it's real nice to see some more options to use with that code I've got.
This looks really interesting, AmperSam! I'm slightly on the fence with making a custom toolbar for LM, but if I successfully pull it off, it'll definitely make things easier for a big hack like mine, considering my hack is pretty heavy on ASM.
It came out a little smaller than I anticipated, but at least it's something. This one's for my fellow Zelda fans here.

I make my posts from my Dell Alienware computer; it's almost 11 years old (which is funny since my birthday is on the 11th of the first month alphabetically), and though it has had its ups & downs, it's survived this long thanks to BitDefender.

hm i should tweak the gloss generation somewhat. it's really basic (just a transparent ellipse that covers the top half of the image) and doesn't really work well for these kinds of taller bars (though the entire generator isn't really tuned for that use case lol....... should i add multiline text??)

It wouldn't hurt to add multiline text. The way you've got it set up is, if too much text is entered into the text box, the final result causes text added earlier to be "erased", and it only shows the tail end of the text. So yeah, that should definitely be addressed IMO.

Edit: As a matter of fact, I'll show you guys what happens if you use too much text.

When I put in "This is a long block of text. It won't all appear here, as you guys can see." to test (without the quotation marks of course), this is what came up:

Those are some pretty impressive sprites! I especially like the Stilt Guy, Spear Guy, & Rocket; and it has me curious to ask a few questions about those sprites, one, can the stilts' or spear's height be configured to make either of them shorter or taller, two, is there a Stilt Guy variant that turns around on ledges, and three, can the Rocket be used as an entrance to a level like in SMB2, exploding after it ejects the player?

Also, it looks like you used some custom physics in showing off these sprites, right? Lastly, is your Dancing Spear Guy identically functional to Sonikku's, or a little different? I'm currently using his version, but I might check yours out after you release it.

Again, awesome job!

Edit: I also see you made a YI Shark Chomp, now that is very, very impressive (I'm assuming that unlike the one in Brutal Mario, this one doesn't use layer 2?). Does it die like the YI one after colliding with a tile it can't eat (assuming there is at least one tile that stops its eating frenzy)?
I've got to nominate SMW Yhosi's Island sprites by Israelcv12cv for one big (and I mean BIG) reason, thanks to his showoff of a certain oversized sprite with a massive appetite (aka the YI Shark Chomp). This sprite alone makes the topic so awesome.
In that case, being as I collected a lot of Rupees in my travels, better late than never to buy a berry. I'd like a green one if you please.
