hey I always wanted to post there, as I saw darn good palets.
I just need one little help on this one.

can I improve that in some way ?

also first second post hooray.
(what really ?)
The icy level's design equals the one you can see in SMW, but they had 10 screens at least =/
Also I think you should modify the palette for the background, that will look nicer.

however I like your level with the pipes :3
completely vanilla levels are very hard to make them interesting =/

for your ghost house, I've noticed some cutoff at the beginning and when the vine ate the plateform, and in your Thunder Bro's level, the goal bar is maybe a bit too high cause it doesn't stop at the end of the tape.

otherwise, you're making progress at level design, keep on going buddy
I'm not a huge fan of the ketchup like tomatoes on your layer 2 section =/
however I looove the effect of purple-ish in your last screenshot and the alternance of colors in your three first pics <3
Mr ESC: well the second one is better than the first, but you need to change also the palette of the little clouds to make it not clashing with the sky.

hrm, I've made two palettes with some effects.

dense underwater atmosphere, a lake.

my first attempt at making a real sunset one.

does it look ok ?
Teo17 : well this is actually pretty good, with the palette and the details of the graphic, but there's still two little things to fix

well first, it looks kind of hard to land on one single block in a slippery level (which I mean the columns)
and at 1:11, I noticed a little grass puppy, in a square of...non-snow, and same thing for the slopes, they make the snow cut.
use the 16x16 to add some snow tiles on the slopes and other decorations.
Well GN, this seems more like a living forest than the first one.
Good job guy
I find a bit odd that the black of Mario is the same black as the back area color but that's a real good palette.
holy cow this is looking so smooth
amazing job there buddy

edit: just noticed the idea with the color added.
Good thinking.
I don't have too much to say spinjumper, the color of the mountains looks fine to me. So yeah.

You masterlink, great palettes for the FG and the BG, however the way that the palette for the sprites isn't changed, it's making the things clashing between them.

And, welp, mine.

Overpoluted INC. an issue
mario's hat : It remembers me a loooot of that one smw's palette. ( woh it's not exactly the same but still, it's pretty basic)
and yup, the background is also basic but really fine.
I guess the real impressive thing in your level is your usage of vanilla tiles, great job on this.

personally I don't really see any usage for this one I made out of boredoom, so this will be a sublevel, I guess.
oh man there is cutoff don't bannish me
I hate you and your "smooth" trickery you did to that coin. ;_;
this is candy for my gloomy eyes.
I've never understood why the background must be totally black in most ghost houses. I mean, there's light, so it cannot be all dark. I know logic in mario games pff what the hell is this.
also I think you should make the player be able to tell the difference between the FG and the BG, here it's like the same colors and stuff (if you have a different scrolling in the bg that's fine though)
Other than than I really like how your brown one looks like.

EDIT : oops I forgot one thing, I've made that palette a long time ago, and I really don't know how it turns. =/
woa. those fancy bushes.
Man this is looking awesome in a half, I'll keep an eye on it.
edit: Well the OW I can hardly see the differents colors in the grass/rock
yup I've found an certain use for those "slanted water" tiles

i'm not proud of that gradient I made for the background, but I think it turns pretty well for the foreground
there's little cutoff with the background rock's top =/
otherwise man this is looking really cool so far, superb palette and really nice background choice
thank you for the feedback guys :3

@1updudes > the only thing that I find odd is the eyes of the dude that are too bright :<
But this is a very good silouette palette, man, I like the bush in the background =D

EDIT: @ well Underway this is cool, but still basic =/ not a lot things to say
(Let me guess : the white pixels is the wind effect no ?)
that looks nice Underway, but what is the effect with the hills on the background, shadow or something ?
and wo munchers in level 2 =/
