Hummm. You have to go to File box then open level adress. Go to 0x38200 for ghost house entrance or 0x3821E and 0x38290 for castle entrances.

I don' know... but there is a manner for fix this. Open the ExGFX file and replace the fireballs manually in YY-chr.

ASM is the language that the SNES games use in some stuff like its sprites and tiles. Before making custom sprites, you'll need to start making simple custom blocks. I don't know how to make custom sprites, and therefore, I can't help you very much with this kind of stuff.
