Delete level 1C and change level 003's event to the correct one.
Then re add level 1C and change it's event to the correct one. That way you don't have both levels clashing into each other...

Hmmm. I put both of the levels on the over world map and they work fine but when I move 1C it bugs out again...
Edit: The spot where it's at is bugging it...
Second Edit:
Here you go fixed... I'm better.

In order to use the background change the FG 2 to the correct ExGFX for the background you want to use...
then go into the 8X8 editor. Get to the background tiles which are pages 40+
Use a blank page but not the one after the real background tiles.
Click on the yellow question mark block with a left arrow.
Find the .map/.bin file and load it.
And boom it should work
If it doesn't then I will show pictures

This would also apply to doors and pipes
Just go into the level you want the key to be took into. Then do what the picture says. Click on the red circle or the down arrow. It should work
Edit : Fail link

I know I posted how to do this in another thread...
Anyway... you must first click on the dark blue mushroom.
Next open up the new folder called ExGFX.
Then put your custom ExGFX into the folder.
Go back into lunar magic and click on the yellow mushroom.
Find the level you want to use the ExGFX in. Click on the red poison mushroom and in either FG 1 ,2 ,or 3 put the number of the ExGFX into that spot.
The level will then appear broken.Next open up the 16X16 editor. Find a blank page on it ... i.e page 3.
Click on the yellow question mark block with a left arrow and find the Map16 file that came with your ExGFX. Boom!
You now have the Map 16 file in your game but the palette will look odd.
Click on the glowing star and in it use blue star with a left arrow to find the tpl file and just use it.
Don't forget to save the 16X16 editor and then the level.
Finally you can add the level to your doing.
*Insert shifty eyes here*
Edit: I was ninja-ed
