Hey I'm actually uploading a hack to somewhere for like once. Where can I upload it if not here? (It's a super Metroid hack so it doesn't seem to me like it would "fit" here). Thanks.

This is a simple but in my opinion possibly unique hack: escaping backwards. Also for those who can't read glitchscript the timer is set to about 45 mins. Note that this is the first hack I've put serious time into so If you note any bad things let me know :)

Hey I've been wondering: How do I add the other koopa kids in the Lemmy/Wendy fight style? I know you can do that but it says to only use Lemmy and Wendy in normal levels. Is there some sort of non normal level where I can put the others and that kind of fight? I'd like to make all the koopa kid fights like this for my hack.

Well I meant the first thing of having all Koopa Kid's fight like Lemmy and Wendy's, but what do you mean, make an ExGFX out of GFX0A, or draw my own frames? I don't do much hacking and I'm not good with graphic editing.

Alright, I got the boss working, but to clarify: Do you mean that I'd "replace" the wendy/Lemmy graphics with the ones of the new koopa kid? Or place the sprtie for wendy/lemmy at a different Y value which makes it use a different koopa kid? I changed the Y value method to change the koopa kid to, I don't remember, Larry, I think? Alright, I didn't post in the old one because I couldn't post twice within 24 hours and I wanted to know so I could make some progress without having to wait until I could post there again.
Ive been doing other stuff today but I'll try it when I can.
Ok: so in my hack, you go to a main overworld, and from there you can select which world you want to do. Beating them all unlocks the final level, that sort of thing. The 5 worlds are linked to the main one with Warp tiles, star roads and a Pipe. The entrance from the first world (which you return to in order to do the final level) to the main one works. Until you use any of the world warps. After returning to the world select, the path to world 1 no longer works. It works fine both ways, but not after warping. The tile to warp to world 1 for some reason takes you to that same spot where you walk along a weird glitch path forever. Again, it works UNTIL you warp, so I don't know what the problem is. Can someone help?
Maybe you don't understand. The path works exactly as intended. I can use it both ways through a billion times and it'd always work. The problem occurs after teleporting to the worlds and back: the path then acts like it doesn't have an exit specified but it worked fine before! Also I tried adjusting the destinations and now they won't link up at all. Maybe I should just add a teleporter from world 1 to the main world instead.
Actually, there's no need now. I mentioned that then the paths didn't work at all. I fixed that and, as a result the entire problem the reason I wrote this was also fixed. Turns out the first time I made them I didn't alt left click or something like that. Anyways, it works.
Hey guys another hack I'm working on is sort of a remake of Mario 3 but for super Mario world should I... not do that? I don't want to upload it and have people be like "oh you shouldn't make this" and stuff so I just wanted to know. Thanks.
First of all, should I even be posting this in tutorials if I'm asking for a tutorial? Anyways, how do I change the number of screens in a level? Yeah, I know its in "change properties in header" But whenever I change the number and save it immediately goes back to 0C screens. Can someone help?
Hi, maybe I'm an idiot for this, and maybe asking for this is going to get me banned from the forum or something, but I'm having trouble understanding how to use the new I think addmusicK. Does anybody have a tutorial video or guide as to what I can do? I looked around for one but I don't understand the normal one and a video I did find was in German or something. There doesn't seem to be too many tutorials on this so if someone could help, that would be appreciated.
How do you make it so that Luigi uses his all-stars version? Or there is at least a different sprite than Mario's?
Ok so first of all, yes, it is inserting music, and 2, the html readme doesn't help me, it's not quite clear to me what I'm doing. It said something about #am4... and some big line that I forget right now... And using the program does not say that the music I put in was inserted with the rest... I don't know... Maybe I'm just cursed to never understand custom music ever. Also how would I use the music in the rom? Does the track number equal the number before the song or something like that?
Alright, thank you, just one more thing mostly, how do I pick the song in the rom? Do I pick the song number that is like the same as in the list? Because I had to put in a number there. Also if that is true, it still doesn't work for some reason, I will try something else but if that doesn't work, what else could be wrong?
