The gradient is pretty natural. Good!
Since I started to hack SMW, I tried to improve my creative to avoid my bad level design. It's helpful.
And it made me serious. When you hacking, you must to avoid bad corner tiles and cutoffs, so you must serious when you creating levels.
Also, SMWC helped me to improve my English and learned some Internet skills, like IRC.
Hmm....I am the first?

Put lots of munchers isn't that good. I recommend you to use other sprites instead.

Try to open #lm{props} and edit the level 2 scroll mode into “none”

I won't allow my player ride Yoshi in the whole hack for these reasons:
- Yoshi will glitch on some levels (like castle). In fact, you can set a intro screen of castle, but my hack contains various styles of castle, so create them is annoying and limited.
- Yoshi is overpowered, and player can use it to cheat on some levels.
- Yoshi drum is a issue when I use some custom music.
- I might give a yoshi for some special traps, but I will use Counter Break Y patch so player is unable to bring a Yoshi out of some level.

I decide to make a water cavern level for this contest, so I signup now.

Find a clean American SMW ROM by yourself, and then port your hack into your new ROM.
Since I started to make my level again, I decided to post some screenshots, even though it's currently unfinished.

Finally, I finished my entry.

Compared with last beta version, it fixes a bunch of bugs. Thanks to mario and luigi for testing my entry.




I don't require the 1st of this contest, but I want to see my level in SMWC Collaboration ROM.

If you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know.

I'm very curious how you put the grass over the rock texture. It's pretty ingenious. Your palettes are also pretty cool, although I'm on the fence about the light grass. Maybe change the hue a bit or change it to a different colour? Also, changing the background colours (if you haven't already, I can't tell) would be cool.

Thanks. I tested it, and no major slowdown.
But I rethinked my level, and these fish is unnessessary.
Looks so far, and the palette is good.
And don't post large pictures immediately in the thread. Make a link instead.
