It never occured to me that custom sprites are totally a thing you can do in other Mario platformers. There's definitely a lot of sprites that can get ported over to SMB3... could you be the mikeyk of SMB3 hacking??

Those look really nifty. I'm sure the kaizo SMB3 scene will have a lot of fun with these projectile-throwing boys and footballs (uh oh...), and the text adventure crew will surely enjoy having another platform to make their games on :p

Cool stuff!

Custom player hacks have never been a highlight for me, but not only does this look absolutely gorgeous - even more than I remember the first Sicari being -, the few gameplay snippets shown in the trailer give me a great impression that this will be a very fun platformer. There's plenty of neat elements of SMW being used there - good to see you use the engine's potential, while also making a great job in telling your story in such a professional-looking way. I'll definitely give this a chance when it's out, as well as your past more recent hacks which I honestly should've played already. Gotta be acquainted with that Sicari lore 👀

Keep it up Eevee - you always seemed very passionate about your stuff, and that's very important for achieving great end results. Good luck!!

Really into these as well, especially the last one. The night mountain setting is actually inspiring. I might put that to some use in my own hack #smw{:peace:}

The probability of rolling any side from an infinite set of sides is zero. Performing a zero chance roll more than once, consequently, also has probability zero.

The yoshi nerf patch seems like a much better way to nerf flight than our existing patch, it gives a nice balance of freedom and constrain. Neat!

Nice P-switches too. I'm sure a lot of terrifying puzzles will be made with these.

Playing VLDC levels: now die not only on the inside, but also literally!

All fantastic, very expressive scribbles. I'm a big fan of takes on monstrosities and deformations. Truly a source of inspiration for the devil.

I can see a lot of potential with this one. It can totally go with SMB3's chasing flame, variants of Bowser's flame, Bowser statue fireballs, even venus flames! (I'm assuming?) Support for custom and extended sprites really broadens the uses of this. And that's just to name a few.

Nice little sprite!

Wow, good job most of you all for making this actually not crash in sight. lol

I wish I were around to contribute. Guess this was a bad time to prioritize uni stuff #smrpg{mlem}

You've always been the weird gimmick man, but this looks exceptionally nice. I love the visual variety and how each of these screens also presents very different brands gimmicks and gameplay. I also really love the overworld, the graphics are really unique. I thought it was a static picture rather than terrain on first glance because of the style, lol.

Looking forward to playing this #smrpg{y}

Wow, this is a... really unique piece. It sounds great, excellent job with the port!

I feel like this can go perfectly in a creepy abstract stage.

As to be consistent with the other requests I've made... can I get a green parakoopa seal? :P
Interested to see how/if that'd work out

Loving all the seals, they're adorable #smrpg{:3} Seal emotes in SMWC when?

Thanks so much, I love it!!!

Loving all your art so far, I can tell you're putting a lot of heart in each of these requests #thp{=D}

Thanks for the rips! Soon, Mario Maker 2 will be obsoleted by hacking :P
SMM2's SMW chain chomp is definitely way superior to its SMAS counterpart, so I hope everyone uses this one from now on. The ice blocks also look surprisingly fancy, so it's nice to have them. Hopefully people will edit them to look like used blocks rather than turn blocks when using the P-switch animation, though!

I crack up everytime I remember the existence of the Mario cartoon. Sometimes it feels like it was a delirium.

The fork with pasta looks really good, and the tablecloth pattern surprisingly works very well as a tileset and even dismisses the need of extra shading. I really hope the background in the screenshots isn't the actual background of the tileset though, cause those colors are pretty jarring lol

Looking forward to seeing more sumptuous assets 😋

Yo that fog effect looks sick. I'm surprised this hasn't been done before
especially after VLDC9's abstract map used a similar effect

Wavy effects are surprisingly not used enough. We should always totally take the opportunity the SNES gives us to make our water levels look wavy and fancy, or to finish off great hot cave aesthetics. And do some trppy abstract-looking stuff too, why not?
It took me a while to see what was going on in the third screenshot, lol

Thanks for wrapping up these effects! #smrpg{y}

Have you installed the title screen moves ASM by any chance? Keeping that installed can cause glitches in the map events that look just like this. If that's the case, uninstalling it (through the OW editor menu) should do the trick.

Description: This patch allows you to get Big, Firey, Caped after you get an custom amount of exits, bonus stars, lives, etc...

I'm not sure how you want this to work in practice. Mario instantly becomes big after meeting a requirement? Powerup blocks don't give you anything before a requirement is met?

This is really broad. Please explain your request better.
