Some new graphics for the Question Block, used block, Turn Block (now a brick block) and cement block. Also, the dragon coin and fire flower have been changed as well, and the star has shading now.

A quick note: the question sign on my new Question Block moves vertically instead of horizontally.

3-Secret: Blaster Battalion

An autoscroll level with Bullet Bills and Torpedo Teds as the main enemies.

Also, the background moves too.

"Sand Beneath the Dark Sky"
A song intended for use in a night desert level.

"The Lonely Ruins"
A calm sort of desert level tune. Would work in a level inside some ruins, obviously.

A little preview of 4-1. World 4 is the obligatory desert world!

I really like the forest level's palette, but what's with the transparent Layer 2 in the fourth screenshot? It looks kind of strange, but also interesting at the same time.

Some more screenshots of 4-1, now titled "Dusty Dusty Dunes"!

Two venus fire traps one pipe.

I don't think Pokey likes that you're trespassing on his land.

Also, 2-Secret: Misty Fog Bog.

Looks pretty good for a first hack!

In the first screenshot, you might want to raise that tunnel near the Goomba by one tile so that Big Mario can fit through.

It looks cool. (pun completely intended.) I like the custom graphics, and the level design is interesting as well.

And good job completing it with only four jumps!

The palletes and level design seem to be good, but I spotted a small issue:
In Misty Fog Bog, there should be at least 2 tiles between the used blocks and the grass ceiling so mario doesn't end up dying by ducking underneath the ceiling.

It's impossible to die there because there's a slope which makes big Mario unable to go there.

Actually, I did change it, because one of the blocks gives out a mushroom. Small Mario can jump into the tunnel, he gets the mushroom, and then he's dead.

Large image warning.

A preview of 4-2, which doesn't have a name yet. I can't think of anything.

Note that the spot with the clouds is unfinished. You don't need a cape to pass that part despite what it looks like currently.

The water is a placeholder for quicksand until I can figure out how to get it to work properly (just acts like a solid block, nothing sinks but dead sprites!), while the [x] custom sprite at the bottom is a venus fire trap.

Just something to prove that this hack isn't as dead as you might think.

4-3: Salt Flat Fields. It's based on this photo!

Solid color background is just a placeholder until I can find something that fits. There we go.

More of 4-3.

Mario goes to get some salt for his food but finds a little more than he can comprehend.

That underground section is an alternate path, yay for alternate paths.

"Something Involving A Boss Battle"
This started off as a mini-boss theme for someone's indie game project but became something totally different instead. Whatever it is, it's intended for a boss battle of some sort, as is to be expected of something of that title.

"Mario Kart Rainbow Road Thing"

A sort of rainbow road type theme, incorporating pieces of two songs from the Mario Kart series. Guess which ones and you get a cookie!

So it turns out I've been dabbling in the mysterious art of Mario Kart Wii hacking instead of working on Mirror World Mayhem like I should. So here's some screenshots of a track model I whipped up.

Among other things, it will have Thwomps, and yes, they'll have the creepy Mirror World Mayhem faces.

The answer? Unithorn's Lair.

Only in this case, they steal lives instead of money.

You wouldn't get banned, no, your eyeballs would explode, your skin would dissolve and your insides would boil out of your skull like a science-fair volcano!

So yes, we must win. Which we will!

I have a plan!

We should take Chester, and push him somewhere else! Preferably in the blast furnace!

We will need to figure out how to actually push him into the blast furnace, but...yesh!

EDIT: Either that or we could just overload his Chester-self with copies of Cheetahmen II...
