The vine looks like it'll hurt you.... You might want to make the leaves a bit more dull. Other than that, I think it's excellent! Somebody will disagree with me but I can't think of what they might say against it....

EDIT: If pipes lead you to level 0 or level 100, they'll send you to an endless bonus game. In other words, you'd better fix them!
Well, if you are up close then you are only seeing light, right? We are seeing it, contrasted with stuff outside of out monitors. That means it hurts more.... In other words, if you have this disability, you might want to move ZSNES to the very edge of the screen so you can constrast it with the outside colors, etc.. Really, it would be to hard for me to explain what a bad palette would be....

As you can see, I think that it's uneven in difficulty but everything else is good. Try to make the beginning a bit tougher. Also, as zdude255 pointed out, it seems repetitive.... Try to add more flavor to how you make your ledges.
In Super Kikitu World, (I think that's the name of the new Brutal Mario demo...) how do you solve the second part of the third level, the one right before the ghost house, in which you can merely walk in the beginning?

Kirby's Rainbow Resort does it once a month and I keep thinking it's going to change sooner.... I like it at about a month so it actually makes sense. Maybe there could be a link to all of the previous ones....

This looks great! I hope you make a part where the mist is in front.... It is annoying yet nice to have mist infront of you. It truly makes you feel like you are in a fog!
Hold on... I'm trying to think of a way to critisize this.... It isn't absolutely perfect? I mean, this looks wonderful! I guess the fact that the layer 3 water is "dotted", such that you can see it is bad. That's all I can think of.... You guys are doing a great job!

Make sure to prevent the player from getting hurt twice there! If you have an enemy that dies upon Mario touching them, you can have that one enemy, once. This looks like a good hack besides the muncher abuse level. I'll try to play it soon!
Wow! The mist doesn't even blot out the entirety of the water it is over! Anyway, the status bar looks nice, as does the title screen. Good job!

There was a thread on this before.... Perhaps there ought to be a sticky that has all of the values for RAM adresses.... It seems that it won't always be included into the RAM map....
These look fine except for Busterbeetle's because he looks burdened, not trying to throw. You might want to use a more advanced sprite (I mean, more advanced in throwing by the way, not more colors, etc..)
It never merges. Unfair is when you can't tell what will happen or it is extremely difficult to avoid something, normally involving glitches or something that may or may not happen, relying on probability.
