Tip: If you place a moon, midpoint, or dragon coin through Map16, it will always respawn whenever you reenter that sublevel. It will not respawn if you add it through the Add Objects/Extended Objects window.
Once again thank you everyone for visiting my thread. It seems the work of a dev is never done, my small cadre of bugtesters have found a few more glitches hence why I'm once again updating the demo.
I know it's a pain but once again if you have downloaded the demo already I wish to urge you to redownload the new revision in the opening post.
All of this is promising looking. I ought to play this hack one of these days. Also I kinda like your "classic-ified" take on some of the songs from SMM SMB1. So does this mean that your SMAS+SMW Ultimate OST is going to be updated again?
I wish to thank you all for visiting my C3 Thread this year. This C3 has been exceptional, especially with all the new hacks and other creative works on the horizon. I apologize for the overall lack of new levels but I promise I'll have more next time.
Didn't think I was being rude. I can easily see my request getting glossed over or lost since I don't have a fancy post header to get people's attention with.
I don't think it's just me, but I noticed that people with fancy post headers get noticed a bit more often.
@Hatsune Blake: Well done man. It's always good to see stuff like this happening.
Also, I call shenanigans on the verdict. I'm pretty sure I was not the only one actively gathering evidence. For what it's worth, this year C3 was decent. Not really mind-blowing or anything and I had a good time here. Maybe you'll see me again at the next C3. Anyways I got to go.
It was kind of a pain for me to find desert bgs and tiles that didn't do the typical Egyptian theme that Mario usually does. I was looking for stuff based around things that can be found in the deserts of the Western US. I would like to advocate for "Mojave", "Old West" and "Meso-American" or "Pre-Columbian" as distinct tags. The first two would be alias for each other and would tackle stuff you would find in the western US. The "Meso-American" or "Pre-Columbian" tag I proposed would cover Mayan, Aztec, Ancient Puebloan and other styles of tiles of that nature. I would also like to propose a "Prehistoric" tag as well.
Specifics - I generally want it to be based on it's combined/fusion arrangement "The Trick Manor" from Circle of the Moon, but still retain their more complete notes and arrangement elements from Super Castlevania IV.
Sampled - Ideally I would this song to be lightly sampled but feel free to add more samples as needed.
Audio References - I got a few right here:
