I love tabletop games. In fact, I may at this point in time like them better than video games, which is ironic since I'm in college to be a game programmer. Some of my favorite non-RPG tabletop games include Ascension: Chronicles of the Godslayer, Magic: the Gathering, Munchkin, Fluxx, Puerto Rico, and there are probably a few that I'm forgetting about. As for RPGs, I'm a big fan of Pathfinder. I also tend to experiment with various other RPG systems, but Pathfinder is my default.
Also, if you're interested in playing Magic: the Gathering online, you can download a program called Cockatrice, found
here. The official site was shut down by Wizards of the Coast, but fans created a new site and servers to play on, so it's still a viable option. If you want to go for a decently better client, your best bet is
MTGO, or Magic: the Gathering Online. The downside is that it is a HUGE moneysink, but I personally prefer the interface. Plus, if you get all of the cards in a set, you can pay a small fee and get them sent to you in real life! If you want to be cheap, Cockatrice is the better choice. If you want a good interface, MTGO is your best bet.
