I'd like to know if you can implement a feature that makes it possible to set the extra proberty bytes of sprites from lunar magic, so that a single sprite can have multiple versions without having to use more sprite slots. (Using the position of the sprite to define the version it will use is impractical to use and the extra bit only allows 2 versions of the sprite).

It gives me errors saying that sprite number must be low, but my sprite (rainspawn.asm) is 0A, so what's the problem? And how should I put it in Lunar Magic? 01, then should I give it the extra bit? Because this is so damn confusing! And what does "lowest number" mean?


use slots 0B or more, if it doesn't work redownload the tool.

Bit 2 indicates if the first extra bit is set.
Bit 3 indicates if it's a custom sprite.
Bit 7 indicates if it has been initialized.

this direction have empty the bits 0,1,4,5 and 6.

why the lunar magic only allows to change the bit 2 and 3?

i made a dynamic patch that allows me to use 4 dynamics sprites of 32X32 Or 4 of 48X48 or 2 of 64X64.

It works on all the emulators.

For make this i transfer 2kb of the half of the sprites in one frame and the other half in the next frame.

This patch is compatible with all actual dynamics sprites.

the routine works but only 1 time per frame,i need to use this routine 4 times per frame, for some reason it works the first time that i use it in a frame and the others times it doesn't work.

How can i fix it?

Lol ano, in spanish ano = anus.

this patch doesn't required dsx and is incompatible with dsx, but is compatible with all the actual dynamics sprites.

i tried to use the a wave HDMA on the OW using ow.asm but it crash and this HDMA works on a normal level.

How can i do a Layer2 wave HDMA on the OW?

also i tried put tiles using the oam on the OW with the next routine:

what hijacks need i for disable all the original dma routine of the game? (like original animations using exgfx33, mario and sprites graphics load to SP1 or others dma routine using every frame on a level or overworld).

Pues son Fan Art (Aunque no todo mis dibujos sean FanArt, tambien tengo algunos OC), y tengo varios pixel arts más aunque deberia hacer una galeria para aquello, porque son muuuuuchos... y gracias por el comentario.
*Por cierto el dibujo de la chica de la firma no lo hice yo :P, y ademas es de un juego llamado King of Fighter. y bueno, tambien dejare algunos otros pixel arts que estoy trabajando.

I finish the first version of the Dynamic Z

with this patch you can do this:

Change of palettes on a stage or on the overworld (max 18~24 colours per frame):

Change of ExGFX on a stage or on the overworld (max the half of a ExGFX per frame (AKA 2kb)):

-minecart sounds (dkc's minecarts have some sounds like this)
-earthquake
-guns (pistols, chain guns, bazookas.)
-more jumps sounds
-more sounds when a enemie die
-pinball sounds and casino sounds
-propeller or airplane sounds
-Any other sound for any gimmick or ambiance that can be used by a hack.

is a lot of work XD but it could be usefull for a lot of users (in special for users that make things with asm)
