Isn't WhiteYoshiEgg already doing that?

This is a thing that's happening, now. Achievements in old video games.
Thank you for the layout, Erik557.
Man, I wish this would've worked. Oh well.
If not for respect, but dramatic effect, take on the face of Guy Fawkes.
Sitting on my desk right now are a green Xbone controller, a RetroFighters N64 controller, and an 8BitDo SN30 Pro, which I've applied electrical tape to the D-pad of to fix the diagonals. (Not the Pro 2.) On my other desk is a PS4 controller. I also have a PS3 controller in storage, and some Mayflash N64 and Gamecube adapters. Out of all of those, I prefer the 8BitDo controller - the Xbone controller's sticks have this knurling texture on the ridges, which tends to hurt after a while. The stick on the Retro Fighters controller isn't very accurate (the northeast input in particular has almost no sensitivity), the buttons are kinda mushy, and there's no right stick. (As should be expected of an N64 controller, I guess.) I haven't used the PS3 or PS4 controllers in a while, but I remember my fingers getting tired due to the D-pad, or something to that effect. My N64 controllers are stock, with sticks that have already seen significant wear and tear, and there's nothing wrong with my Gamecube controller (though it is third-party) but the adapter for it doesn't grip the plug very well, so the connection sucks.

The 8BitDo controller (after taping the diagonals) outperforms everything else I own, not just in comfort, but in functionality. If you're comfortable with opening your controllers up and futzing around inside them, I'd absolutely recommend getting it.
