Progress Update!
Finally I am about done revising my models! Next thing is items in levels. Demo could possibly be in a couple of weeks. I'm not sure if i'll put the hub in, because i usually have random problems.

I made a site for Shining Stars with a relatively updated progress chart. Check it out here.

So i found the wrong snow texture in toads tool. In toads tool, texture 447 appears to be the one used in snow/blizzard, but it is acually what the weird snow guys throw. Also it is what comes up when Mario walks on snow. Hopefully i can find the blizzard texture so i can make the rain effect.

Just for randomness, here are a couple of screenshots for Stormy Skyway. I changed my model like 4 times before i got it to where i wanted it! Also check out the music for levels!

I tried the demo. Whomps Floating Habitat was great! The camera worked well,and the only thing that was weird to me was in course 1 (forgot the name). It reminded me of Lethal Lava Land.

So I keep on getting a "maximum model size reached" error on the model replacer from importer 1.9. I reduced my model to one texture, but it still would not relpace (im trying to replace the title).

Thanks. I divided the textures, but it is still stretchy. The flatness will go away when I edit it in toads tool. I will not enable death floor for this level. Also, does anyone know how to make transparent fences and textures?

Oh no i meant the model was flat not the level. Sorry for bump, had to clear that up.

I just overdid the fog on the level. Looks way better with moderate fog than intense.

Import it into a rom using the level importer over the title screen or another music, then open it in PJ64

Another small update! Stormy Skyway is completely done! I will probably finish Piranha Skygarden and Icefire Caverns for a demo pretty soon. Probably within the next 2 weeks. Happy new years!:D

How do you do a warp for a different starting level than castle grounds? I tried doing one and it didn't work at all.

Did you try changing the default level in the Importer or TT64?

Could you specify what you mean a bit more,if people don't understand your question they won't answer you

I meant that when starting a game, I wanted to temporarily change the starting level. I didn't know if I would need to use a warp like Mario start 1 or a different one. I used the level importer.

It should work as long as you export the picture, edit it, then import it back into the game using the program.

About editing the star and coin huds, i replaced it, but the transparency around the edges didnt work.

Camstudio is ok (free), but i would use what Meltfire said (hypercam and fraps). Those are good at recording nonchoppy videos (i use fraps)

On tt64, how do you know what part of mario (hat, shirt,etc.) to change the color of? Ive tried testing it in pj64.

you can't know that by tt64 only. also, some colors are used twice.

Oh ok ill probably just use a color code then.
