Since 2013 is the year of Luigi i felt the urge to finally complete this 5 year over due hack. i've been touching up on old Beta from 2010 with the new tools and new things i've learnt. Its way better than the 2009 Beta(now its an Alpha as the final major hack will most likely have many Beta's for testing i'm also working on a demo that will be heavily based on the actual games E3 demo from 2001).
obviously this doesn't match up to todays standards of hacks but its still a fair hack thats fun to play. Expect some major hack previews eventually.
Thanks to TomixNscale89 on YT for creating the title and Flame8765 for fixing it.
An idea that will go further in the final.
Insted of using n0obish imitation textures from an earlier Beta i ripped the actual texture with Dolphin Emulator granted they lose quality when resized.
The game only has 1 new custom level made back in mid 2010 i was still noobish with Obj importing and creating levels so its not to great but decent. The final game is not going to have open levels.
The rest of the levels are obviously just retextures of the original levels not all have new idea's and stars. Yeah i wasn't very creative back then.
This level was based heavily on Donkey Kong 64 as you can see the textures are ripped from that game. In the 2009 Beta as you may have seen from a video i made back then this level was just ment to be a underground cave under the star statue in the courtyard, similar to "under the well" from the actual game.
Now on to the new features.
- SFX hacks
-New music
- More exploration in the Mansion so you will have to think to figure out some things.
- Harder difficulty
- Hardly any 1 ups
- Secret area's
