I didn't know that. I thought that you see animals (and monsters in games) pretty much everywhere. You could have at least some goombas, wigglers, etc., or are you trying to make it scary?
By the way, it doesn't matter how many doors and pipes there are, one level on the map means 2 exits. No more.
Just for interest...
1. "Can you trust Haaaaaach?" "Who the eff is he?"
2. Not to brag, but kinda. Well, I'm not dumb.
4. Well..... I don't really excel in any particular area, but I don't suck badly.
5. Never got banned. (not counting 5 mins though.)
No, I'm not asking to be a mod.
I really don't like the standards set by the community. I'm talking about what hacks need to have in order to be even seen as "alright".
If someone makes a hack with level design as the point of it, and adds none of this custom block shit or anything (Return to Dinosaur Land), only a few people will appreciate it.
Take a look at SMI. ExGFX, custom blocks, custom music and custom sprites. How much effort is it to download these programs and insert all the crap, compared to the authors coding their blocks and sprites, drawing the GFX, etc.? Yet so many people's opinions are that they make a hack 9001 times as good. For fuck-all effort. I'm not saying that SMI 1 and 2 suck, in fact they're great hacks. But they're not ultra mega awesome for being raped full of custom whatever.
Also, what's up with everyone wanting postcount+++++++++++? It seems that if you spam WoI until you get hundreds of posts, then, and only then, can you announce your hack. Otherwise, no-one will appreciate it.
Sorry to take the inntertuubzx so seriously, but some things just get to me.
