Does anybody know what I have to do to make it so that when a fireball hits an enemy, it will just die, like with the Cape Twirl? I don't want them turning into coins!

I recently figured out how to apply ASM patches. I used as.bat (something that came with a certain version of XKAS) to apply the classic fireball (classicfire.asm) patch. But now, the title screen won't load! The only way I can load my game is by loading the save state I have! I have tried using XKAS Anti, but it doesn't seem to work! Can anybody help me out?

Calm down! Just tell us what you did, and what error AMK gave you, then we could probably help you out. Or you could read the readme.
Sorry, if I came across as crazy. I just really want this to work. As you can tell, I'm a total Super Mario World Hacking N00b (at least with custom music). Also, to be honest, I didn't think anyone would respond. Okay, it says something along the lines of the following:
File: CUSTOM, Epic Battle.txt Line 43:
#amk must have an integer argument specifying the version.
File: CUSTOM, Epic Battle.txt Line 1:
Song did not specify the target program with #amk, #am4, or #amm.
File: CUSTOM, Epic Battle.txt Line 2:
Unknown hex command.
File: CUSTOM, Epic Battle.txt Line 3:
Unknown hex command.
I've tried putting the phrase "#amk" in the music in the txt files anywhere I could but it didn't do anything. Any help would much appriciated. Thank you.

Not to be rude, but it won't hurt to read what the error messages are saying.
That tells you to put a number right after #amk, the program's version number to be exact.
Without a number, AMK doesn't recognize that line as valid, and consequently complains about missing a valid line:
I doubt you need to put #amk there too - if that song was meant to be inserted with Addmusic 4.05, all you need to do is put #am4, on a separate line, at the very top of the file.
That will probably also take care of the "Unknown hex command" issues, since AMK will then know how to interpret them.

Okay I inserted them, but now there is no sound. I think it said it inserted 71 SPC files. Have I inserted too many songs?
I inserted custom music into my hack, but now there is no sound at all. Can anyone help me?

Next time, please read AMK's included readme; most questions you may have are probably answered in that.
Anyways, this is an easy fix. Go to the overworld editor's music box, click on an overworld, click on some music to use for an overworld, press OK and save. The music in levels should play now.

No offense, but I've read all the readme html files, and not one of them said anything about no sound issues. However, I will try doing what you told me to do. I am sorry if I came across as rude.

It actually does in the new versions:

Yep. The fixes for these are simple: just reset them in Lunar Magic. You'll only have to do this once.
This will fix the silent level music as well, by the way.
The overworld songs are mixed up! The "Welcome to Dinosaur Land" music isn't playing! Music seems to go silent during levels!

1 - How do I do that?
2 - Could it have anything to do with the SFX & original music getting renamed?
Okay, I did that, but there is still no music or SFX.
I inserted the custom music, but there is no sound. I have read the readme, but it didn't say anything about this. I reset the overworld music, but it didn't help. I have to keep making new threads because people seem to just stop responding.
Listen, I can't do this on my own. Could someone with experience with Custom Music please insert some Custom Music into my hack? I will give that person the most credit. I will provide a link to my ROM. The music that I want inserted is included. -link removed-?
Mirann-edit: Don't link to ROMs. Make a BPS/IPS file instead.

Believe me, I've tried. It's just too complicated for me. It's even harder than that mine cart segment in Skyward Sword. Also. that was the fastest replay I've ever gotten.

You LITERALLY just have to DRAG your rom to AddmusicK.exe and WAMO, no cmd or any of that shit or any .bin to patch what not. It seriously can't be stressed enough that people should REALLY start moving away from other AMs, especially since there's a chance they MIGHT not be in the Tool's section later on. There's a HUGE readme that also explains EVERYTHING there is to know so please read it before you post your next question. Sorry for the emphasis, I'm just trying to make the key words stand out
.
EDIT: Crap I just realized how awful this post looks, sorry man, I recommend AMK because it's good ^^, but as Masterlink says, I'd NEVER force anything upon ANYONE! (Thanks Masterlink).

So, are you saying I don't need to patch an ASM file to get AMK to work?

BTW, I love that Konata layout you've got going there. Lucky Star is one of my 2 favorite anime shows, the other being Sailor Moon.

So I DON'T need ANY freespace to insert custom music using AMK?
PS: I LOVE the Konata Izumi layout you've got going there. Lucky Star is my 2nd favorite anime, my all-time favorite is Sailor Moon.

Don't worry, Mirann-sama, I deleted the link.

So what would you advise I added to this to make it more useful?
By making it so that the link to Carol's Lemmy sprite doesn't say "File not found.".

I have a question I have carol's king dedede boss but for some reason every time I defeat him the music crashes. Is there anyway to fix this in the asm file?
Where did you find the King Dedede boss? Could you please give me a link?
Just curious. About how long until this hack is finished? I'm REALLY eager to play it!
