Thank you for reviewing my ROM hack. I appreciate the effort.

You don't approve of it because the sprite placement is lazy, the first stages are too hard (which is the point of the whole ROM hack, by the way), the level design is boring, and the object placement is sloppy and annoying. Please specify where these problems are in the ROM hack and how you think I should fix them. Please provide pictures if you can.

There's my entry, adequately named Dipalon's AutoMario.

There's a weird visual glitch at one point in the level. I don't know what it is, but it won't show up in Lunar Magic for some reason.

It sounds like the ultimate collector's tool.

A price of 1000$ would still be much less than buying all the systems seperately, so the price is actually quite reasonable if you account for that fact.

In it, I've replaced most of the munchers with a more tolerable block
(black used block that hurts you if you touch it)

Annoying object placement? Fixed.

Boring level design? I worked on that, but the problem may still remain.

Lazy sprite placement...

It's not that I can't think of anything better than "spam Thwomps";
it's that each level has a gimmick. You have to use that gimmick in order to beat the level, and that gimmick usually involves sprites.

The level names are puns giving a hint as to the gimmick in the level.

Oh, and as for the "What Not to Do" video? Could you tell me what I shouldn't have in my hack? I would rather read it than watch it.

Well, the ROM I patched it with did have an incorrect checksum

See, the problem is that I MADE the ROM hack.

The person who PM'd me about the problem may just have an error in their emulator, but I felt that I should have a second opinion.

My levels are going to be pretty hard (as I am currently working on Mario's Deadly Adventure and therefore am inclined to make hard levels), so I would recommend you put them in World 8 or 9.

It's called a GIMMICK. Each level has a distinct gimmick which it revolves around. If I vary up the levels, then the gimmick is ruined.

The first two levels have the springboard gimmick, but the ones after that don't have any "midair springboard bounces" at all.

(Okay, maybe a few. I haven't checked for 'em.)

Have you gotten through the first three levels?

... Probably not. It IS a Kaizo hack, after all

So, is there anything else to improve on, or is it just that the hack is a Kaizo hack?

Let me know in order for version 0.6 to be accepted.

I'll be a judge, but I was also planning on entering a submission.

Either I can become a judge and the submission is checked by only the other judges (as to avoid bias), or I don't submit the level.

My submission is half-done, with no custom sprites or music.
(I do not know how to make it and the guides are way too confusing)
