Fixed the
NSMB Overworld port and I think it's pretty much done to my likings but I will wait to hear what people have to say. I switched channels 5 & 6 with 7 & 8 so the SFX wouldn't cut off important notes, besides, those guitar chords are pretty quiet. As for the echo, I'm experimenting at the moment whether or not I should give it
slight echo or just none at all.
Originally posted by Harumi MakotoSounding a lot beter already, you just need to fix the snare's ADSR since that still falls away, maybe even give the percussion a small boost in volume in general so it stands out a bit more. Also turn down the square's hardpanning a bit more as well as the volume (hearing it in only your left ear isn't exactly pleasant).
I did this and it turned out quite well! As for the hardpannings, the reason I did them like that is because I was using
this video as reference, and as you can see, everything was pretty much hard panned to a specific ear with the exception of the main melody in the center. I can see your point, I just want to give you a reason as to why I did it like that at first

. Either way, I took the advice and adjusted the pannings to a more ear friendly manner XD.
Also, I have a new port to add to the SMAS Soundtrack. It's a seemingly unused one known as the
Bonus. Pretty short song, I think it was suppose to be more of a fanfare than a level song.
