News: I'm gonna add some SMW songs that still need to be ripped for AMK. Princess Peach Rescued was my first one done. In progress are Staff Roll, Yoshis' Home, and Cast List. You REALLY don't want to hear Staff Roll after the 0:40 mark...

*smack* HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTTEN ABOUT $F3?!?! Thanks Masterlink . Next problem, can someone please help me out as to why this sounds like this? Is it because of the truncated ticks? I'm trying to rip the last few SMW songs so AMK can have them in the next update.

I think what you're looking for is this.

Open your rom in a hex editor and search for 2CF79, then 2CFD8, change both of these addresses to 80.

Yea, others the seem to be having the same problem is Cast List, and Bowser Zoom Out. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with those truncated ticks, but I don't know what to do...

Please explain in step by step what you're doing exactly. It seems to working for everyone else and me, so somewhere you must be making some kind of small mistake. Both the patch and hex edits do the exact same things.

Well I managed to fix the Bowser Zoom Out, but the others are different as they have more error areas, where as Bowser Zoom Out only had 1. Is there anyone that can take these and fix them for me? In particular one with a lot of music experience that can tell me what was wrong and give me advice as to how prevent this in the future?

There seems to be a problem in my AMK where none of the songs will play on the YI, Vanilla Dome, and Valley submaps. Anywhere else, the songs will play in levels, but on those map, everything is silenced except SFX. I even tried it on a fresh rom to make sure it wasn't something I had. I have still yet to check Star Road and Special World.

Nevermind, I fixed the songs as closest I could get them to the originals.

Side note with AMK:



nothing was wrong, all you had to do was go to the overworld, and select the songs to the worlds, save the overworld, and the issue is fixed! Also, there are a few songs that still need to be ripped, such as the 3 credit songs, and the bowser battle musics and SFX. Right now, I'm trying my best to rip them for the next AMK update (its still beta so it still has quite a few bugs left fix'n). Hopefully you'll give AMK another shot sometime, its a really great Addmusic!

Hey guys, make sure to check my 1st post for my SMW rips for AMK. Two are still a work in progress. I'm still working on the credit songs for Yoshi's Island, so no need to worry on me forgetting (right after I fix Yoshi's Island ).

Actually, believe it or not, my first port EVER, was Story Organ then Athletic back in February 2013. In fact, the only reason this project exists to this day, is because of the positive feedback on those 2 songs! The AMK ports are my latest, I'm trying my best to see if I can rip the remaining SMW songs so AMK can have them, I think all that's left is the Bowser Zoom In SFX... My real struggle right now is Staff Roll and Cast List because of all the truncated ticks. My current YI port I'm working right now is the credit song. Any opinions on the YI ports?

EDIT: Sorry I misunderstood you at first, yeas, the 1st one is the Bowser 2nd Phase, silly me. Fixed it .

These sound nice! There appears to be something wrong with the Game Select links, it's not working, other than that, keep up the great work!
I loved the Practice with Yoshi! Very soothing to the ears...

lol don't forget the 217, that's the most important part , but anyways, I'm desperately crossing my fingers to release this in time as a "Christmas Gift" to the community. I really do hope I finish it before New Years, I just have 2 interferences: school, and my brother wanting to play minecraft with the laptop...Oh, and no bud, you don't sound impatient at all! In fact, I'm glad at least some people are eager and can't wait, it means I'm doing a great job thus far, so thank you!

Update times: Ripped the last SMW port for AMK (Bowser Zoom In), and fixed the loops on Yoshi's Island and Luigi Saved. I think I'm finished with the SMW ports now, though if someone could still point out improvements in Staff Roll and Cast List, I will try my best to fix them, but, yeah, I think I'm done. Now I can FINALLY continue on the YI Credit themes!

Well for one thing, they have quite a bit of instruments, I mean the part 1 has 12, part 2, maybe the same or more, that and the fact I haven't had time lately to work on the YI Project. I mean its not that it's hard(thanks to all wonderful porting tools out there ), it more with me losing track of the instruments, and yes I do label them, it's just that I'm real clumsy at times. Don't get me wrong though, I will try to finish EVERYTHING before the end of the holidays.

EDIT: Uuuhhh actually, Credits Part 2 only has 5 instruments and is really short...YAY !

Alright guys, after much anticipation (I hope), The Ending of YI is now done! The 1st part was in the works for quite some time because of my lack of work time on it, but yesterday it was finished, along with part 2! Phew.......enjoy guys !
