Hi everybody,

First off, sorry that my first post is a question right away. I prefer to introduce myself first in the appropriate topic at a forum before asking a question, rather than instantly 'demanding' an answer. Unfortunately, I didn't find that, so I guess it's not there (Or I didn't search good enough :p).

Anyways, my question is this one;
How exactly do I import the scrolling pipes by fusoya? I've tried the two options I found here;

- 1. Pipes (But it didn't work right, I got stuck at a step involving FGX)
- 2. The IPS file, but that also added some art. The art is beautifull and at first it was happy about it, but it seems to screw up the Overworld arts badly. So it's unusable.

Could someone tell me

OR - How to do 1.
OR - How to remove the added art but keeping the Pipingsystem.

I hope it also works underwater (I heard some versions of this don't).

I just downloaded LunarMagic today and I found a lot of great stuff on this site, so I can't wait to start working :)
It's better than nothing, if they don't work underwater I'll work my way around that glitch :)

The art thing is great but it screws up the Overworld...
To show you what I mean:

I really love the graphics, they remind me of Yoshi's Island =)
But unless I can fix the overworld, the whole packet is useless for me :(
I guess there is no way of only importing it to levels, but keeping the 'old' overworld art?

Ah, I haven't tried that yet.

EditYes, it works perfect now. I tried it a few times on 'clean' ROMs, but it didn't work. I forgot that none of my ROMs was clean due to a mistake I made. So I redownloaded, backupped (not duplicating my mistake) and patched. Worked perfectly. :)
This might be the stupidest question ever, but I really can't find it anywhere...

How to change the background (f.e. from Mountains to Dungeon themed)?
I got 2 q's...

1) When I want to input exgrafics into my rom, it always says "Nothing found in /ExGraphics."
Yes I did do the capitalization "ExGraphics"
Yes I did put something in the map.

2) The FAQ around here says to edit the title screen and stuff go to Overworld -> File -> Title screen.. etc. But when I go to Overworld->File that option isn't there.. What to do?

Edit - Importing FG stuff works now, but I'm having trouble importing things that do NOT have map16 or map16g or both, als importing BG does not work

1: How to create new paths in the Overworld Editor? All I can do at the moment is moving (not copying) the old paths, but I'll eventually run out of paths :p

Could someone explain me step by step how to import and use a background. Every attempt I've done so far turned into garbage graphics. None of the FAQ's or Readme's or Documents worked for me.
It looks like a great idea, but it is very messy.
Goes for both the levels and the overworld.

And at the overworld... Please don't make the icon of a level 'Cut-scene'. :p

Personally I prefer a same type of 'style' through the game (not a SMB1-themed level all of a sudden), but maybe that's just me.

Same as the others considering the overworld. It's boring.
To fix the backgrounds,

Go to main/secondary entance and set Layer 1, 2 Initial Position to FG=C0 and BG=C0, repeat for all secondary entrances going to that level.

I think that works.

I'm n00b at exgfx stuff so can't help you with that...

Alright, my question is a simple one. I want to hex edit my hack to alter the coin value of the flying red coin and the purple coin. Can anyone tell me their origin in the ROM, and also what to fill in to get 5 or 10 as worth, etc. for example? Thanks in advance...
I searched for it with (CTRL+F)
Keyword used "Coin"

I didn't find it... can someone help me ?

Shoot from slanted pipe will work too, I suppose.
Haven't seen a vid with it, yet.
