As I said in a thread I posted in recently, I don't really like very many changes, though I am fine with a few changes. I mean, I liked the old layout of YouTube, but comparing the old layout to its new layout (by new I don't mean the Cosmic Panda thing) makes the old one look like shit in my opinion.

Now, I don't really like this new scheme very much at this stage in its development, and if they do implement it, it's going to take a bit of getting use to for me. The channels look ugly, the images there are way too big and they pretty much buried common things, such as the channel comments. The video player seems to look a bit like Vevo's video layout, to me. I find the video player a bit annoying, seeing as how the huge ass video box (which seems to move the video over a bit to the left so they can fit even more ads on the right) follows you and covers up half the screen as you try to look at the comments or suggested videos. I also don't like the fact that you can't see the progress of the download on the video you're watching, as my internet sucks and that's kind of important sometimes. It seems to lag a lot for me, too, and if you put the video at the largest size, you can't even scroll for some reason. The playlist scheme seems to be decent, though, and it's nice that it doesn't scroll down the screen with you, otherwise it'd take up way too much room. Other than those three things, I haven't seen anything else that's been changed.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I don't hate it by any means, I just think they need to do a lot of tweaking before they release it, along with possibly giving the users the ability to choose which scheme they want. If they don't do that, then people are going to be bitching nonstop for a month or two on how awful it is and blah blah blah, like everyone always does anymore.

Really? That's odd, maybe it's just Opera not displaying it correctly or something, or it could've been my awful internet not loading things fast enough. I just checked again in Firefox and it did show up. Sorry for the confusion there, K3fka.

Also, I just wanted to point out how things are running a bit smoother on the video page for me today, so that makes it a lot better. Last night it would lag if I tried to scroll down or do anything. I was probably just being a bit too harsh on it yesterday, as it doesn't seem too awfully bad, but I don't know, the channels still look really ugly to me. I'm sure they'll fix it in due time, though, as I'd like to think Google, a huge and important company, knows what they're doing.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean when you say "it's not letting me do anything," seeing as how you didn't really specify what isn't working, but I'll try my best to help you anyway.

There are a lot of things that you have to check if your hacks aren't working. First of all, do you have all of the correct tools for playing the hacks (for example, an emulator or Lunar IPS)? You probably do seeing as how you've played them in the past, but I'm just making sure.

Second, I would suggest that you make sure your SMW ROM is clean by using The Clean ROM Verifier. If it isn't, then keep searching for one on Google, because we can't provide you with one, though you probably knew that already.

Third, I'm not sure if you're applying the IPS patch correctly or not, so for the sake of keeping this post short and easy to read, I'll link you to the instructions, which can easily be found by reading our FAQ.

If your problem isn't dealing with playing the hacks, but instead editing them, then I would suggest you read this part of the FAQ, which deals with a few different error messages in Lunar Magic.

I apologize if this post was strangely worded or something, I'm really tired right now and I probably don't make as much since as I usually do. I hope I helped though, Star1645823. Good luck!
Well, I'm not a moderator, MuffinRobot, but I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be accepted, seeing as how there's a game that's very similar to the one you suggested on the second page of this forum. It hasn't been posted in for two weeks or so (which is probably why you didn't see it, its been buried by the other threads here), but you could still make a post in it about being addicted to YouTube, as it hasn't been long enough for your post to be considered a bump just yet. I could be wrong, though, because there was a suggestion in this thread a few pages back about being addicted to ROM hacking that was suggested before the thread I linked was, and that game was accepted, too.

Though a few habits I'm about to list aren't really that bad, some of them tend to be rather annoying and stupid.

First off, I'm not sure if this counts as a habit or not, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so, as xxxzzz1 said, I tend to check over every detail in my work and perfect it (yes, this includes my posts, too), so that it looks the best it possibly can. I mean, most everything I make I'd like to think looks pretty good, but it takes me a little while sometimes, especially when I procrastinate.

Anyways, I also tend to shake my legs a lot when I get nervous, but that isn't really a problem unless someone is sitting very close to me and I annoy them or something.

As most everyone else here does, I tend to pick at my fingernails and toenails frequently when I'm either bored or nervous, too. This one is a bit worse, seeing as how it sometimes looks as if I stuck my fingers in a pile of glass or something. Sometimes I pick my nails so short that they start bleeding or become sore, but that doesn't happen too often. As K3fka pointed out, though, at least I don't have to use fingernail clippers very often!

Also, I have a habit of sitting in weird positions sometimes, due to my legs getting sore from sitting in one position pretty quickly. Because of this, I cross my legs like a girl from time to time (it feels good, but looks weird to my friends sometimes). I also tend to stretch different parts of my body from time to time, seeing as how they get sore too. That feels good and all, but if people are watching, you can look like you're having some sort of seizure or twitching or something awkward like that, which generally isn't a good thing when you're out in public. Part of the reason I get so sore sometimes is probably because of my posture, which I really need to fix, too, as I sit pretty hunched over, which isn't good for my back at all.

Finally, like a lot of other people here, I slur some of my words while I'm talking or mix them up in awkward ways ("I have to carpet the vacuum. Wait, what?"). This isn't bad as much as it is annoying to me.
While we don't have a chat room on this site itself, we do have have our own personal IRC (Internet Relay Chat) server with quite a few active channels that a lot of our active users hang out in on a daily basis. To visit our IRC server, you first have to get some sort of IRC client. You could always use Mibbit, an IRC client accessible from your browser, but I wouldn't recommend it, seeing as how it doesn't have too many features or anything. What I would recommend you to use is either mIRC (which I use, I find it a very nice IRC client), or X-Chat 2, which some people prefer because of how customizable most every part of it is. After you've gotten an IRC client, all you have to do is set all of the settings for it (of course), then type "/server irc.caffie.net" in the blank box it brings up when you open the client and press enter. After doing that, just type "/join #smwc" and you can start hanging out with all of us there. Good luck joining, and don't forget to read our IRC Channel Info and Rules before you do, as moltensnow already pointed out. If you need any help just let one of us know.

Also, just a random fact, SMWCentral use to have a chat room embedded into the site itself, but that was quickly taken down after only a few days of it being on the site due to it being full of spam, and also due to it being pretty useless, seeing as how our IRC channel was up and plenty active at that time (though, we didn't have our own server at that point in time).

Sorry about posting this a little bit late, too, at the time I started typing this there were no replies, but I see you've already received help from other members. Oh well, though, I hope I still helped in some way. :<>:
In all honesty, Naranja, I don't think either of those games will be accepted, seeing as how there have been countless instances of those threads before, and they've all been closed due to breaking this forum's rules, which can be found in this thread. Those types of games generally don't take too much thought to play, and they're sometimes considered postcount++ games, seeing as how there usually ends up being a group of the same few users that tend to post in threads of that nature. Again, though, I could be wrong here, as a fresh start to some of those games may be alright with everyone else, I just wanted to put my two cents in real quick.
I hope it's okay to repeat the bold words more than once in each story, because I used the word "game" quite a bit in mine. Also, it's a lot longer than 4-5 lines of text, but even so, I had to shorten it quite a bit. I felt the length was necessary to give you the gist of the story. It drives me crazy when I can't leave all the details in my stories anyway. :<>:

----------------------------------------------------------------------

When me and my friends were in our early teens, we use to act rebellious and play a crazy game around 12:00 AM. Most every night, we'd drive around our neighborhood and find random houses filled with innocent people sleeping in their cozy beds and attempt to pull mean pranks on each house we found. Whoever successfully pulled off the most pranks before it became 2:00 AM was the winner. Now, I wasn't sure playing that stupid game for countless hours each night was a good idea or not, but I was a victim to peer pressure. I'd have nightmares every night of the cops showing up and sending me to jail for life. Little did I know that I really would soon get caught pulling one of our dangerous pranks.

I remember it all very well. It was 1:00 AM on a Saturday night when a cop drove by and noticed me throwing toilet paper rolls across a victim's house. He stopped, got out of his car and came over to me and my friends. He then got into this long spiel about how we should never pull pranks and how "super dangerous" they are. He took all of us back to our parent's houses and let us off with a warning, though I don't think we needed one, seeing as how our parents scared us far more than enough to stop us from ever playing the game again. After that, we realized how stupid it really was, and began occupying our time doing better deeds for the town to make up for all the damage we had done.
Yeah, I keep hearing a lot of places are getting tons of snow already, but for the longest time we haven't even had any sort of real rain. I myself love rain, especially when I'm trying to go to sleep, so as you can imagine I keep getting all excited when it starts to look gloomy outside. I mean, our ground has been looking really cracked and dry lately, anyway. Literally all it has done the past 10 times its looked menacing and cloudy, though, is start thundering a lot, sprinkle for about 1 minute, then become really sunny again. It's like mother nature is trying to piss me off or something. >:<

Of course, this isn't a good indication for our winter, either. If it's this dry in the fall, it probably won't snow much at all where I live this year. I sure hope so, I really like having snow days and being warm and cozy in my house with a mug of hot chocolate or something. <3

ALSO SPADE BROUGHT ME HERE
Yeah, for me the sounds are messed up for some reason. Door sounds are randomized, so my doors sometimes make closing sounds when I open them, and both chests and doors make the same sound. I'm not hearing any particular change in the sound an arrow makes when it hits the ground, either. Hopefully these will be fixed soon, I want to hear the new sounds, and no video I've looked up has any different sound clip, which is pretty weird.

Anyway, I think the new explosion sounds are awesome, probably the best new sound in my opinion, but I'm really hating the new bow sound. The chest and door sounds are decent right now, too. Also, I'm not sure if anyone knows yet, but I'm pretty sure the sound for throwing snowballs and eggs has changed. I actually think the new sound is better, it sounds like a real snowball and not like you have some sort of cannon arm launching them at 100 miles per hour.

Edit - @The Secret Exit: Yeah, I know those are the new sounds, I meant I was waiting to see the difference in door and chests sounds, and maybe also the arrow hitting the ground sound clip, if that actually has changed. Sorry I didn't make myself very clear the first time. :<
Los Angeles Lakers

I'm a pretty big basketball fan myself, but I much prefer college basketball for some reason. Same goes for football, actually.
Even though I hardly ever post anything on this site anymore due to a bunch of reasons I'd really rather not explain in a huge post, I still can say with great pleasure that I'm a proud member here of 4 years now. I can't thank you guys enough, honestly. This place has been through it's ups and downs, don't get me wrong, but it's still awesome.

Without this site, I would probably still be on a funky site called Bebo filled with some really strange and dumb people. I would likely not be nearly as good at writing, one of my favorite things to do, as I am now, no thanks to the soon 1,573 posts I've typed up. Not a huge number, especially when compared to loyal members like S.N.N. or Ultimaximus, but it's still a decent amount. I'm pretty sure I'd still be acting like a dumb kid had I not been straightened out a bit, not to mention almost being banned for quite a long time. Most of all though, I wouldn't be myself. The friends I've made both here and on the IRC have been great, funny and generally nice people, who I'm sure have helped me become the person I am today, either by giving me advice, discussing hobbies and things we like to do, or, for example, showing me Minecraft, which has also helped me make friends in real life (seriously, most everybody at my school plays Minecraft now).

Anyways, enough lovey-dovey sappy stuff for now, this is a Mario forum, not some sort of place I can wander around spilling my whole life's story. Just seriously, thanks to everyone here, especially the older members, for being so awesome. <3

I'm not quite sure the number of users online has ever gone above 120, but I could be wrong. The most I've ever seen online was somewhere around 113, however I have only been able to document when 105 users were on. I'm sure the number increased after I took that picture, though, and for the other occasions in which there were tons of users on I just didn't take a screenshot of it for some reason.

If I think back really far into my time here on the site, I actually remember quite a few instances in which over 100 users were visiting solely the site itself. Sadly though, no event that would attract such a crowd (besides the one I just linked) comes to mind other than the one day S.N.N. was only a few posts off from his 10,000th post. A massive thread was made in honor of it with replies being submitted every few seconds, and, if I remember correctly, a new site scheme was even added shortly after his 10,000th post, even though we can no longer access anything but the default schemes for now. If that wasn't the time in which the "record" was set, then it came pretty close, because there were a ton of people on then.
This site doesn't have a bookmark feature built into it, but you could simply press Ctrl+D on your keyboard if you want to save a certain thread. No matter what browser you're using, doing that should bring up a dialog box asking you what to name your newly added bookmark. Once you've added it, you could always organize your bookmarks so that all of threads you've saved are in an easy to access folder titled "SMWC Threads" (or whatever you'd like to name it) that's available when you click the drop-down list of bookmarks added.
So we just recently bought a new, faster plan that actually lowered our monthly bill. Still not sure how that works, but hey, I'll take it.

Sometimes I really wish I could go back to my old internet speeds though. I mean, who wouldn't want to live with this lightning fast speed on a daily basis?
