I barely started, which is called The Light And The Dark Onyx (yes, named after my username...) which has a story line.
Eons ago, there was a war between the dark and the light creatures(I'll think of a name for the creatures) for many millenia. They eventually reached a peace, which put a light and a dark onyx,(with uncontrollable energy which has the power to destroy the world) side-by-side, locked away, and never to be separated.
Fast-forwarding to the present day...
Mario and/or Luigi is relaxing in his house, eating pistachios in peace and tranquility, when a tornado sweeps through the Mushroom Kingdom, leaving everyone either traumatized or shocked. Mario, shcoked as well, tries to find the cause of that tornado, because no tornadoes have ever occurred in the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario thinks Bowser is up to no good, so he goes through all these worlds as the world is beginning to collapse. Meanwhile, at Bowser's castle, he found the stones, and is planning to crack open the uncontrollable energy inside (what he doesn't know is that the world is collapsing outside his castle).
