What does Boomiere have anything to do with new avatar limits anyways?
I call it gray
Maybe there should be a thread/forum for personal tutorials where noobs (like me) get help from more experienced hackers that are willing to help the noobs get better. So an example would be that a noob would read a label under a volunteer's name that specifies what they're good at, and then open a new thread asking that volunteer to help him/her. If they're not training someone else of course. Does that sound good? Because I would like to get help like that from someone.
Yeah, a mentor/apprenticeship thingy
There is another thing I was also thinking about. A level submitter thread/forum where a noob will insert his/her level to be used and given advice. But not like beta testing. Just for them to try and make a basic level and see whether its good or not, what could be better, and other stuff like that. That way if someone feels uncomfortable about himself/herself making a hack for the first time, he/she could put in a few levels and have them graded and/or be told what could be done better. I think that that would make a lot of noobs become better hackers.
I've been waiting for a while for a mod or admin to tell me if this is a good or bad idea. and like TSR said, screenshots and videos aren't the same as playing a hack.

Edit: did I mention that I'm very impatient?
I try to download .midi songs, but i can't. Realplayer is blocking it. Please respond ASAP.
Here's an idea. what if their was an oil field and when any sort of fire (Mario's, sumo bro's, etc) touches the oil, it turns into lava.
I think that there should be more level contests. They help to get people to make more levels. But they're also hard to find. The beginner ones are especially important because beginners are only gonna be able to beat other beginners.
But there are/were almost no beginner contests (only 1) and like i said earlier, only beginners beat beginners.
yes but can people start one anytime as long as it has proper organization and rules?

Edit: ^ = stupid question. Maybe there could be a contest that's always open and starts up again as soon as it gets new judges! I'm gonna go ahead and start one tonight unless a mod or an admin tell me not to. I'm also gonna try to get some judges ready for it ASAP so that all of the judges and rules will be ready and agreed on (if anyone who reads this is interested, pm me).
Oops. A little late. Oh well, i told them that it might not happen. Sorry, i got a bit confused about that. Btw, what i meant is that when one contest ends, there is always one directly after that. Sorta like small unofficial contests where you don't get a badge or anything. It would be for fun and for training, not for rewards or anything. then you would get graded on your level.

Edit: Also no admins/mods were responding to my stupid question so I assumed it was all right. I guess I assumed wrong. So can I open one?
So i got the Yoshi - Seven Fruits of Gold player GFX, but i can't get the palette .zst to work.
Importing it onto lunar magic.
Yes, and the palettes appear in Lunar Magic but not in the hack (and i did remember to save).
yes, quite sure.
Thanks, I'll try that.
I'm having trouble with the player graphics Yoshi seven fruits of gold palette. I'm trying to get it to work for only one lvl, but the only way I can do it is to save rgb's to rom.
