Have you tried to copy-paste the channel that doesn't play and reimport it in MuseScore ? It often solves the problem when I do it.
Besides that, the instruments in NLST 37 don't really have special needs (even if I recommend you to write -140 in the "pitch" section to get a closer to the original sounding for Pan Flute.

BTW, I've got a problem about scrolling textures : when I try to make for example a waterfall, it actually scrolls, but it flows upwards ! I can't seem to reverse the direction of the scrolling, so how could I make it scroll in the expected direction ?

I'm so sorry about the door that leads to course 6, it is supposed to lead to a pink Bob-Omb in the final game, but it's basically a test level in its current state. I thought the warp was removed !
I'll fix that in no time !

Besides that, I know that I'm not the best at texturing my levels, but I try to do my best !

(the bed in the desert is part of a ruined house, did you notice the walls and the floor around it ?)

Is it true that Frauber's OBJ Exporter doesn't export very well texture mapping on custom levels ?
I've actually heard that on some forum and I've noticed that my texture mapping on custom levels is not very well done once imported, but it's good on Sketchup for some reason :/

I use Skelux's importer 1.9.3S and Frauber's OBJ exporter... guess it's time to reimport all my custom levels ever imported.

- In the overworld, while trying to jump on the lava pillars I still get burned for no apparent reason. I hate that I have to precise the jump to land on the first pillars. This needs to be changed.

- The rings star in course 3 is not collectable as you die by a huge and invisible whirlpool which you could mistrust his location. The tweester behavior needs to be changed and try adjusting the rings generator a little bit higher.

- Course 4 isn't even playable because the HUD will instantly disappear and make the ROM crash. I don't know what's the cause here but maybe you overwrote some (un)specified object.

I haven't start looking in the Bowser stage yet, since it's a demo and there are hacks out there I want to test too. Other than that, it's a good game, and you need to work a little more on the textures and the level geometry, you could pass through solid walls if you ignore faces left behind in your model.


1) I should remove the first pillar. BTW, the overworld was just made for the demo

2) I searched everywhere and I've noticed that one of the red coins is
out of bounds in Course 1. I thought that was fixed, but I'll fix it asap ! Anyway, in Course 2, every red coin is collectible.
Here's the list of them :

#1 - Behind the starting point


#2 - In front of the "parkour" that leads to the railway


#3 - Near the central hotsand point


#4 - In front of a "background hill"


#5 & #6 - In the flowery patches outside the building


#7 - Inside the building
(you've need to get on top of a Whomp to get it)


#8 - Behind a quicksand fall (notice strange texturing where is
the red coin is supposed to be)


3) If it's too hard, then I'll try to improve the "panel challenge" in some way. (I mean, this is only course 2 !)

4) In Course 3, the rings star is collectible (I've tested it in the demo version and I've collected it.) But if it's really hard, then I'll move the tornado in the center.

5) I have no clue of why it's happening ! In my demo version, it works perfectly. Have you downloaded it from Google Drive or from SMWCentral ? If it's the latter, I'd maybe recommend you to get it from Google Drive.

Besides that, I'm happy you have enjoyed it a little. ^^ I've really need though to improve my texturing... Since I was using Frauber's OBJ exporter plugin, which is known for exporting badly texture mapping, I'm looking for a better exporter and reimporting all my custom levels.

I always wanted to do a "Luigi and the Forest Ruins Redone", with all the unused levels, some unused ideas and redone level design (but I haven't got the time to do so atm) so I'm completly okay for a level revision ! ^^

(Good luck with speedrunning this, the "Below Mushroom Kingdom" course is pretty hardcore !)

Anyway, aside of Below Mushroom Kingdom this hack is pretty much made for speedruns, as only 8 stars are required to beat the game, and Course 4 is very small, allowing to collect stars quickly :p

50 stars ? I'm kinda startled, as they are only 47 "normally" :

- 7 from each course (42)
- One after beating Eyerok in switch palace (43)
- Two from MIPS (45)
- One in Peach's Castle (46)
- One in the secret wing stage at Nuro Forest (47)

So I'm pretty curious about these 7 secret stars ! I mean, where they actually come from ?
About the Yellow Switch glitch, I was aware of this, but only in the multiplayer version. It was supposed to be a (sort-of) easter egg, but if it's causing strange glitches, I prefer to remove it.

I'm pretty excited about this reboot though ^^

This is basically a grassy version of Desert Place, the second course of Ztar Attack. It won't be useful for this, but maybe it will if I make someday a Ztar Attack 1.5 (much like BroDute's SR6.5 and 7.5) :P
