So, I have a hack based on Luigi, but I can't find the graphics for Luigi's name in the file where the text is. (Luigi) (Well, I found one piece of it... But that's obviously not gonna cut it) Could someone please make a graphics file which replaces Mario's name with Luigi? That would be awesome and I would throw you into the credits in my hack.
Edit: Yes I tried searching up files that have this edit, with no luck.

Try using the custom palette that was provided with it if there was one.

Hmm. That's odd. Maybe you deleted it or lost it for some reason. Try redownloading it. If no luck, you can make your own palette. Just find which colors go where and set your palette.

You'll need to be more specific with your second post there. I'll help with that after you be more specific. As for the incorrect checksum, run the unmodified ROM in Lunar Magic, and add a header to it, that should work.

So, I have a level, where there's layer 2 spikes on both sides of the screen, and auto scrolling, but no Layer 2 settings, so the spikes follow the player. In LM's internal emulator, they do exactly what I want, but in ZSNES, it doesn't show up at all.

Edit: I tried the "1" door, and I see the BG as C0, is this my issue?

Edit: Well, that made no sense. Let's rephrase that: I saved that after I made the layer 2 room and finished it.

Yes, if you'd watch the video, you enter a door to get to the layer 2 area. (But Nintendo, and hacks had layer 2 rooms entered by doors, so why is it messed up for me?)

Alright, I hope this doesn't fail me. I'm a bit nervous. Without further ado, let's begin!

The hack's name is: Luigi's Adventure

The story: It was a peaceful day in the Mushroom Kingdom. Until, one time at the midnight hour, Bowser sneaks into the castle and kidnaps Princess Peach!! But before leaving, Bowser thought up of a devious plan to also kidnap Mario while he was asleep! Startled, Luigi jumps awake to the sound of Mario and Peach yelling for help and instantly realizes Bowser had just got into the castle! Luigi then quickly jumps into the escape pipe and escapes. Now he must find Mario and Peach and save them!


What I need:
- Someone to help me design levels
- An overworld designer
- Someone who's willing to make me custom music
- Someone who can help me with a better intro screen.
- Possibly more.

I rarely ever insert tiles in Map16, unless it's a tile I have to. So no, I didn't insert them using Map16.
As for 070B2 $00:EEB2, is this a hex edit I must make? Is 070B2 the hex adress I change 1E to 04?

I recently sent a message to the creator of the VWF Dialogues Patch, RPG Hacker:

Your Dialogues patch is a bit confusing to me. I really need some more visual explanation, as for some reason, text explanations never really work well with me. If you could give me a visual explanation over a private YouTube video or Skype, that would be so awesome! I really want to use it so badly, I hope to hear back from you soon! Thanks for taking the time to read, it means a lot to me!


And he replied this:

I'm not really the best person for this as I'm not good at that stuff and can't bring up the time for this at the moment. Maybe you find someone else on the forum who can help you with this. By now, there are a lot of people who have even more experience with the path than me.

So yeah, how I see this is he's telling me I should ask the community. If there's anyone who can maybe walk me through this, let me know! I really need some help with it.
