In my opinion, this level could have been good, and even though I had some fun it was mostly just repetitive and uninteresting so it be came monotonous pretty quickly. Also, as others have said the palette doesn't look very good and it doesn't fit the desert theme.

Personally I think the main problem with this level is that there's really nothing interesting going on with it. There's very few enemy variety and as Erik said some of them either don't even present a threat or can just easily be avoided with no effort. Still I think the idea is somewhat interesting so I'll go for a fix.

Overall I liked the level a lot and thought it was pretty fun but I still found some issues:

The tile underneath Mario acts like solid when it probably shouldn't:

Exiting the sublevel causes this:

(iirc this happens because of No Vertical Scroll+ the Secondary Exit position)

Also the pipe and blocks from the previous picture can't be seen normally but you can still bump into them from underneath:

Plutonic Chasm:

Overall a decent level in my opinion, the only mistake I found was some cutoff, but it's just something minor so even Erik could fix it.

Warrior's Thicket:

I though this was a pretty fun level, but it had some issues:

You can easily skip part of the level by going up the wall at this part (or get stuck if you're not careful enough):

I'd recommend moving this hammer bro up some tiles and maybe give the player a little bit more room to dodge his hammers since otherwise it's pretty difficult to get past it without getting hurt:

Raise the ceiling on this part so that it doesn't feel so cramped:

Also just a suggestion but you could atleast put some coins on this space since otherwise it's just useless.

Change those things and you're good to go in my opinion.

Do note that I haven't finished all of the levels, but here is some of the stuff that I noticed while playing:

The note block's palette doesn't look very good in my opinion.

Cutoff on the treetops.

What are those black blocks supposed to be?

I don't think there is a point for these blocks to be invisible coin blocks, so I think you should replace with actually visible blocks.

You should probably make it more obvious that the red pipes hurt the player, since otherwise they just look like normal harmless pipes.

Also for some reason these pipes didn't hurt me at all.

More cutoff.

That's all for now. When I actually finish the demo I'll probably come back to report more stuff. I think this hack has potential, so I wouldn't want it to die because of lack of attention.

Aside from what's been already mentioned, there's also the fact that you can clip through the ground under this slope/ledge and sometimes fall to your death(only seems to work on the topmost one):

I'd go for a change on the second part, since overall I thought it wasn't really enjoyable and didn't really fit with the rest of the level.

The first part was alright but I think it could have featured some more threatning enemies. Also unless I'm blind the level only had 4 Dragon Coins.
