This hack has been cancelled! Why? Check the last post by me.
Also, I've deleted all the images in this thread first post! Why? Because.

Hello there! You probably know me as AlwaysANoob (in fact, you DO know me as AlwaysANoob because that's my username) - and today, I have something super
delicious amazeballs tubular cool
? to show you! This is
Reznor Wants Cake, a short, single world hack!
Reznor Wants Cake
A short, 1 world hack
Plot:
Taking place on Reznor Island (never would have guessed), Yoshi and Birdo are taking a vacation. Of course, all Mario games must have cake
that is a lie, so, Birdo decides to make a really, really nice cake for Yoshi. Think of the cake from Kirby: Squeak Squad (Mouse Attack in PAL regions) - it's that good. Anyway, Reznor, being the ruler of Reznor Island (who would've guessed), decides to give the middle finger to Yoshi and takes the cake.
Mario, a month later, visits the island, and before he even gets to take a foot onto the island, Yoshi screams, kicks and cries like an annoying baby for Mario to get the cake back. And that's our plot. Mario sets off to retrieve a cake.
Content:
If you're ahead of the curve, you'll by now know this is a 1 world hack. It'll have 6 levels, all of which only have one exit, and 5 Yoshi Coins. I've tried to be unique with the level ideas - rather than grassland levels, I've decided to go for abstract themes like simulations, factories, haunted piers and many other things. I'm not trying to leave a lasting impact on you - I just want to try and be unique.
Overworld:
Here. As you can tell, the Yoshi House is actually a level. Strange, I know. But, if you keep reading, you'll see why.
Level 1: Yoshi Simulation
Yeah, the first level is a simulation. Yoshi is trying to, effectively, train Mario for Reznor. I don't know why, as I'm sure Mario is capable by himself, but hey, it's a nice way to not have a generic grass level.

As you can tell, there are murals on the wall, and there are clouds. They're in grayscale, as to add to feeling that this isn't real, and that this is all a practice. As such, the level isn't too hard. It starts out not-linear, then progresses into a linear-level towards the end.
And yeah, that's it for now! I'll have more progress in 1~2 days (because Windows 10 is coming out and I can't wait). Thanks again for reading, and please, leave feedback below!
