I don't know how to make good levels, and I'd like some tips on how. My levels are too short, they don't have enough scenery, and I either put too many enemies or too few. Anyone know any good tips for me?

The layout is nice, I'd rate it 8/10. Pretty much the only thing that I don't like about is is when it repeats, it doesn't look that good.

I really like the graphics. It seems like a good hack, and I'd really like to play it! The night and the forest look good, too. I thing you're hack is going to be really good!

And then the chainsaw destroys it. Too bad. You really shouldn't bring swords to a gunfight.

I have a problem with downloading hacks. I extracted the zip and used Flips to apply the patch, and when I try to play the hack, it's broken and the screen is black. Also, when I try to open it in Lunar Magic, it won't work. Anybody know what's wrong or how to help?

This is meant to be a house making challenge in SMW, and I mean to keep it like that.

It's an .smc file.

I opened Flips and pressed "Apply Patch".
Then I went to my downloaded ROM and double-clicked the .ips file for it.
After that, I went and double-clicked the clean ROM.
Then I named the ROM and put in one of my folders.
It said "The patch was applied successfully."
When I went into ZSNES to try the ROM out, the screen was black and it didn't work.

This took me like 7 minutes, like it?

I don't agree.

So, I made this thread because I was really bored, and I wanted to show off some art that I made. By the way, I took these pictures with my camera in my unsteady hands, so they may be a bit blurry:

This is one of my best drawings, I gotta say, and also, usually I make square hands and feet instead of fingers and feet that stick out a little. The hands were a nightmare. The eyes were pretty hard, and pretty awesome. I think my favorite part is the eyes, then the butterfly hairpin, and then the dress.


This is probably near one of my best drawings, and it didn't take long at all. It's also one of my most simple ones. I did this to test my awesomeness in making hair and annoyed looks, don't you think it's pretty good? Also, the thing in the middle of the head is NOT a beak, it's a mouth.


Didn't take me that long to make this, either. The surprised look is one of very, very few that I've made. It was quite hard to bend the arm into that position without making it look extremely unnatural. The bangs didn't take that long, and they're probably my favorite part about the picture.

If you have any comments, don't be afraid to post them! I made this thread to see how good my drawings were in other people's minds.
