FRIENDS 4EVER (project name: 4skins)

imagine i'm making a baneposting joke here

edit: updated ever so slightly
I've been taking a break from League of Legends for a while (running out of space on my computer for anime) so in the mean time I've been trying to get more back into Super Mario World hacking both playing it and making levels (been trying out a new sort of design philosophy). I played a couple of Japanese hacks from 2005 that Zandro has on his site a while ago so I figured I would try some more since I liked them a lot alongside with some of the entries from the latest 24hosmw contest. I've also been trying to get into Melty Blood lately too but it hurts my hand playing with a keyboard after a while.
and why! It feels hard to just say one I've found so I figured I would expand it. Here are mine:

(Espurr, Mawile, Froslass, Tangela, Psyduck)

I like them mostly for their thematics, all of them being maybe not necessarily creepy-cute but at least weird-cute which is an aesthetic I'm a big fan of
pretty good
will you submit it to the hack section? :)
well if you like variety in your opening music, definitely check out Bakemonogatari. 5 different OPs, all pretty distinct musically for an anime that's only 12 episodes long.
i don't, not with super mario world hacking at least. i suddenly get a burst of inspiration, start a bunch of levels, finish a couple, then get burnt out within a week, then stare at my unfinished levels desperately trying to think how to finish them for months afterwards maybe adding a couple screens. not very healthy and at least i've learned just to make levels as long as what feels right and not force it. doesn't help now though that since I updated my os, lunar magic and snes9x won't run.

super mario world: alexandrite edition coming never

uhhhhh not sure. i'm running lunar magic through wine so that might be part of it.
i updated my os recently and apparently even the latest version of snes9x isn't compatible with it. looks like i probably won't be gracing this contest with my presence this time, sorry guys :( i will try retroarch to see if that works though
is it ok if we use the BLDC baserom assuming the level you make is entirely new?
watch a lot of anime
if you couldn't tell by my change in avatar i've been rewatching neon genesis evangelion since i recently realized it's probably been close to 7 years since my first and only time watching it. blew through the first 24 episodes the past 3 days, probably gonna go back and watch the director's cut of episodes 21-24 before continuing forward though. great stuff overall, still hits like a truck maybe even more so now, was surprised to find asuka was maybe the most relatable character for me. love her so much.
it's a surprise #smrpg{mlem}
super mario world: alexandrite edition #wario{:'(}
poppy for username because i used to play her a lot in league of legends and i think it's just a cute name. yunocchi for pfp becuase she's cute and i think she's great.
that's what they want you to think but once you actually start it's nothin' but pain and misery #thp{O_O2}
