Oh hey, someone reviews SMW hacks.

Just want to say this first: You have to approach these things carefully, because they could be made by 10 year olds instead of people at Nintendo HQ. In other words, don't expect anything that amazing.

Anyway, I just watched the newest episode. Like HuFlungDu, I was being constantly reminded of the AVGN because of the way you were acting in the review. I think a lot of people copy him because he's been doing that for over a decade(started in 2004?) and I guess a lot of people got an impression.

Good luck with this, you might have a small channel now, but I think your videos are alright. And hey, it's not like copying someone like the AVGN is bad.

^ What nick said. I've only played a few Sonic games on Gamecube & watched a cartoon(forgot which one it was), so... Yeah...
As stated here, I cannot move Mario on the overworld when I load my hack in an emulator. Help please?
VVVVVV is a platformer indie game for PC and Nintendo 3DS. In the game, you play as Captain Viridian(I think that's what his name was?) with his crew. One day, when traveling in space, the ship detects a crucial error, and everyone has to teleport out of the ship to live(?). Captain Viridian survives and teleports, but he is separated from his crew. You also seem to be stuck on an alternate dimension called VVVVVV, so that's nice. You have to find all of your crew members and leave.

The game itself looks incredibly simple. It looks like a game for the Commodore 64(heck, when you load the game, it does a Commodore 64 like loading screen.). So, the game aims for a somewhat retro feel.

This game is a platformer in the sense that you can flip from the floor to the ceiling. Press a button, and you'll fall up/down. This can create some tricky platforming areas. I had trouble with this when I played the game, but in the end it's an alright thing to have.

The game also has some custom levels included(on the 3DS version) made by fans, so if you ever get bored with the main game, you can always try out these(or, if you own the PC version, make your own.).

I like this game, even though I haven't played it for a while. You should check it out when you have some money laying around doing nothing.

What do you think of the game? I would really like to see what others think of it, since I really haven't heard much of it around the internet.
Buffer?
The screenshots look promising(also that title screen looks awesome). Can't wait for the release :D
Well, I haven't played a Zelda game in a while... But this looks alright. I might get it when I've saved enough money.
Sometimes, when I launch a PC game(such as Minecraft) or even click on a YouTube video(but that happens rarely), my display driver crashes(A black screen shows up with my cursor on the screen), and doesn't recover. Whenever this happens, I have to force shut down my computer(which is something I don't want to do). CTRL+ALT+DEL doesn't work, because when I launch task manager to stop the game, it just idles.

I have no idea why this happens(maybe my computer doesn't have enough RAM?). Is there any way I can prevent this from happening?
I'm (pretty) sure it is. My computer's Windows 7 Professional with SP1. Here's a screen with some more information...

Thanks, that worked. While in that menu, I learned how to make the levels I place not lead to level 0, so that's a plus.
I polished up the overworld a lot, what do you guys think?

*responds to question on thread title*

How about the playable characters are the good people that come to this site? *shot*

This is the most random thing I've ever seen, but it sounds like it could be good, so I'll wait until a demo gets released so I can judge it. :P

Yeah, I was planning on adding decorations.(Just need to place the right ones in the right place) And yes, I know about the perspective error on the bottom. I don't know how to fix it, nor do I know where to find the correct tiles to fix it.
