Hi, I'm Luansilva12 Green Jerry. I'm making a new hack. It's called...
SUPER MARIO WORLD MIX!
The purpose of this hack is to play through stages of older and some of the newer Mario games. Sorry if this is against the rules.

CUSTOM THINGS INFO:
Custom Graphics? Yes, otherwise it'll be a vanilla hack.
Custom Patches? Yes, otherwise classic piranha plants would be unused.
Custom Music? Yes, but it made the hack with no sounds.
Custom Sprites? No.
Custom Overworld? Yes, otherwise the map shown in the 4th screenshot world be the original.
Custom Palettes? Yes, otherwise the hack would look -very- ugly.

First, I'll show that the NINTENDO PRESENTS logo was changed:

Now its Luansilva12 Presents.

Now, the TITLE SCREEN:

INTRO LEVEL (screenshot taken from version 1.6)

The intro level is a section of world 1-1 from SMB3

OVERWORLD

From version 1.0 to 1.4 the Overworld was the original.

SUPER MARIO BROS. (Play up to world 4-4)

World 1-1:

World 1-2:

World 1-3:

World 1-4:

The SMB1 and SMB:TLL's castles in this hack is a combination of NES (foreground) and SNES (background). Fire Mario's palette needs to be fixed.
World 2-1:

Mario is about to collect the 1-up.
World 2-2:

Mario's feet is glitched (GFX00.bin mismatch)
World 2-3:

World 2-4:

World 3-1:

The status bar is ugly.
World 3-2:

Again, status bar is ugly. Mario almost got a 1-up!
World 3-3:

And again, status bar is ugly.
World 3-4:

World 4-1:

-BEWARE-
Lakitu is here! Piranha plants still work, thought.
World 4-2:

Buzzy Beetles are included.
World 4-3:

For some reason the mushroom from the BG has a black line.
World 4-4:

The last stage of SMB1 in this hack.

SUPER MARIO BROS.: THE LOST LEVELS (Play up to world 2-4)

World 1-1:

Notice the green stem - because the classic piranha patch fix patch was applied.

Notice it again. Fire Mario palette and after-turning turn blocks needs to be fixed.
World 1-2:

It's recommended to have a cape to jump over this pit. To get it, go to the SMB3 level (it's hidden in the OW, to the right of SMB2) and try to beat SMB3 without dying or you'll have to start over from 1-1.

SUPER MARIO BROS. 2/SUPER MARIO USA (Play up to world 1-3)

In version 1.4, the item box was cutoff and Fire Mario is ugly.

SUPER MARIO BROS. 3 (Play up to world 1-Airship)

World 1-1:

Item box is cutoff and Fire Mario is ugly again, these things needs to be fixed.
World 1-2:

Slopes doesn't work properly. (In NSMB 1-1 they worked)
World 1-3:

-NOT IN THE ABOVE PICTURE-
Boomerang Bros. are replaced by Chargin Chucks.
World 1-Mushroom House:
Coming soon.
World 1-4:

It includes the autoscroll but in some parts you can't fit in so you have to be small Mario.
World 1-Fortress:
Coming soon.
World 1-5:

Status bar is hidden (requires sprite status bar or smb3 status bar).
World 1-6:
Coming soon.
World 1-Airship:
Coming soon.

And finally, showing the end-of-demo level (screenshots taken from version 1.52):

The first screenshot expains that newer updates are made at every two weeks.

Download link: (Not available because it's a ROM and I didn't make a IPS patch).

The base named 2015-07-19.bps file downloads for me as a Text Document (.TXT) file! And I want a IPS version of that base (my patcher doesn't support BPS patches (i'm on Android).
My Android ROM patcher is named "UniPatcher" (it's on the play store).
My emulator name: Snes9x EX+ (Android port of Snes9x)

I'm posting these Game Overs because you hated it:

EDIT 2016-01-06: Oops, forgot to post the NES ones. Pirate Super Mario World and Mario Bros. included

EDIT 2016-01-21: Now the Game Boy ones. Moved Super Mario Land to this part.

My game freezes in Nintendo Presents (screen didn't turned into garbled stuff, it just remained on screen)! (Or it soft-locked), as Berkay said.

File deleted! I get a error 404 file not found!

SMW TileEdit100.zip not commonly downloaded and may be dangerous.

This means that the tool is a installer - its a malicious program.

This hack is... pretty weird overall. I think you have the wrong idea of what a creepypasta hack should be. Also, I think that this distracted you from the core factors, there are lots of causes which made me reject this hack.

First, there is not enough gameplay per single run. Your hack's levels are extremly linear, samey, and not too different each other. Plus, you went with 6 exits, which isn't enough if you consider how your levels are. I suggest you to try making each level more unique from the others (adding gimmicks and things like this, instead of being a "go right while avoiding enemies" all the time), as well as, maybe, making your future demo more lenghty (something like 10 exits, if you will keep the same kind of design, should be enough).

Second, there is not good enough quality content. There isn't a clean use of palettes and graphics overall. A big offender may be this, but I could make an example for each level. Again, going in the creepypasta way of hacks doesn't justify you from making messes with palettes or graphics.

Other misc errors I found here:
- In the first level, the first enemy you meet is confusing: it looks like you can jump on it, but it's a spiny.
- As I said again, you should take care of the graphics and palettes. Stuff like this:

and this:

doesn't look too good.
- Each time Mario stomps/kicks an enemy, the item in the item box will disappear for an instant. Try to find a solution to this.

Once all the main issues are fixed, I'll accept your hack.

Como você pode ver, Wakana disse que a hack está muito estranha!

Esta hack está... muito estranha em geral.

My ? sphere appears as garbage in the half top.
See the screenshot:

Did I made it correctly? I have set up my ExAnimation correctly! I also used custom FG ExGFX. Note the broken life counter.

Not black screens but smooth transition to black and back that also takes time.

So far, the only patch that's currently on here that's the most like what you said is this patch, which creates a fade-in/out effect as seen in ASMWCP.

(restricted)
Sory for bumping the thread but I found a palette error:
(Image removed due to Pixel-Gon Gamer deleting it)
Error: The Blue Shy Guy's palette looks bad (white outline)
Fix this by: Changing color 9 of palette B.

For some reason, when I try to save my changes in Status Effect, the ROM's size is dropped to 0 bytes, and when I close the program, I get this:

Errors occurred. See the logfile 'C:\Program Files\Status Effect\statuseffect.exe.log' for details.

It says to check the log and I get this:

How I can fix this?
