Awesome! :D

Here's a few more tracks I've been working on recently:

I have been doing a few jazz studies recently and came up with this:
Mario's Jazventure

I've wanted to remaster this for ages:

Hey guys, I've not had chance to compose an original track for a while now, but I've given myself a couple of days to create what I found to be slightly out of my comfort zone, this being a slightly more chiptune/trap based composition.

Here's Sir. Chipps in all his glorified chippy-pop goodness :D

Sir. Chipps

Feedback would be jolly good!

Cheers!

Simple, not amazing, but simple is cool so I guess points for that :)

As I blow the dust off my account just for this one post, I'm filled to the brim of nostalgia. The community, tools and site has grown so much since I last came here and it makes me extremely proud to have spent a good amount of time here back in the day.

I miss this place so much, it was my home from home, early mornings and late nights, any time of day. I would wake up on a Saturday morning and be excited to have a full weekend to work on my hacks and just generally be around a super friendly and supportive community.

A lot of you guys probably don't know who I am and/or don't care, but I just wanted to pop by and say what an awesome job you are all doing by keeping this community alive. Mario hacking in general has been a huge reason on what I do today (Game Development) and I owe so much to this site.

Keep on keeping on and I hope you all find your place in the near/far future, keep at what you're doing, if it's making a full hack or even just helping people out by leaving feedback.

Good luck SMWCentral,
Kc.

I remember your name. Thanks for coming back to pay us a visit!

I sometimes wonder when I'll be in your position and what it will be like.

Just hard work and play is all that is required! Although I wouldn't say I'm in any kind of 'position', I just enjoy what I do!

Hey, I remember you. Welcome back! (albeit for a short time I assume)

I also managed to play some of your hacks way back then but never finished them.

Hey! I'll try stick around for a little while at least! :)

I still see you/talk to you now and then, so instead of saying "wow, I haven't seen you in years", I'll say "hey dude". It's still super crazy to see you on this account again though.

(for those who don't know: Kc used to be a regular member way back in the day, and he made a pretty great hack known as Buried Treasure. Definitely worth a play.)

Hey dude, back! Haha yeah, I was on a super nostalgic ride and wanted to come back and see what was going on after all these years :)

Speaking of which, Kc, ever going to explain why exactly that thing at the end with the hands wanted to smash us? Such a rude thing, such rude hands.

Haha, I'll be completely honest here.. I have no idea :D But yep, so so rude!

Hey, I actually remember Buried Treasure. One of the few hacks that I've played that I actually remember. Mario's sprite looked really cool in that game.

Glad it became somewhat memorable, I still surprised it's up there with a ton of crazy awesome hacks, I'm not worthy! Haha I remember spending waaay too long on Mario's 'Indy' costume ;)

Kc! #tb{:D} I thought you'd dropped off the face of the earth. Great to see an long-time member return, if only for a post or two. (And to hear you're still around making games - to this day, Buried Treasure remains one of my favorite hacks.)

Hope life's been treating you well, and will continue to. #tb{:)}

WYE! :D I'm flattered that BT still finds it's way into your fave hacks! I've had a sniff through your Seasons hack thread and I gotta say it's looking superb!

No special ExGFX here, just me relearning LM + finding out all the new features since I last used it back in 2011. Playing with palettes and vanilla stuff:

Going for a much more nonlinear approach with many different routes. I want the player to feel like there are a bunch more to the levels with pipes/shortcuts going through different areas, kinda like how the original Sonic games did it.
