Hello, I would absolutely love to donate to this site, as it has been a big part of my life for many years now, but I am unable to donate through paypal. I have contacted a few of the staff about the matter, and have yet to be given a consistent answer as to who to contact about it. Each and every response has yielded someone new.
So I'll ask here, is there another way for me to donate besides through paypal? If so, what can I do?
And Xyspade, thank you for helping by the way, I contacted Lightvayne the second attempt and he replied telling me to contact Kieran. I've tried Kieran and have heard nothing back from him. So I'm kinda in the dark on this one, hehe...
I'm probably just repeating what nearly everyone else has said on here already, but simply asking to be on the staff will get you nowhere. One must either work towards it as a goal, or just show that you are making positive contributions to the site. Be it by, of course, submitting things which help out the site, or, by just following the rules.
... I guess in some ways, what I just said works for many walks in life.
The confirmation of BREXIT is a devastating blow, indeed. It's rather unfortunate that the conservatives over in the United Kingdom couldn't see past their blatant xenophobia to take on the implications of their decision.
Now that Britain is out of the E.U, the world is facing major stock market blows. I mean, within the first day, the United States's DOW went down nearly 600 points, and Britain had already begun witnessing inflation that will only get worse as time goes on.
Something like this doesn't just affect Britain and Europe, but rather, it affects the entire global economy.
You can also tell that the administration within the E.U are completely and utterly pissed off. There are some people who voted to leave the E.U that are clearly expressing buyers remorse, and say things along the lines of, "oh, well, I mean, it could take a few years for this to get going." That is not the case. The E.U wants Britain out FAST, and have said that they will not be allowing the UK back into the E.U
That being said, I also think certain people need to be more humble and not think them superior in their opinions. And let's lighten up as well; I don't want to sound apathetic (it is death after all) but we do seem to be getting a little bit too upset over a video game website...
That's the most unfortunate part about internet forums and social media in generally. People tend to think they are completely invincible and can say whatever they want without repercussion (which in a way... they are...). People just need to be more humble, especially on a site like this which is meant to be a fun and friendly place.
Easily the scariest thing that has happened to my computer (an Apevia xDreamer gaming computer) happened about 3 years ago. It contracted a virus of some kind which threatened to wipe out my entire hard drive if I installed a required update... Which as you can guess means I couldn't manually install the updates or shut down/restart my computer... The worst part is that I had to wait an entire month to get it fixed because we couldn't afford the repairs.
1) Become a successful, professional audio engineer. To lead the recording of albums, to mix them, to edit them, all that I've dreamed of doing since my interest in audio engineering began. This wish leads my second wish, becoming a prominent record producer!
2) To one day be able to make a good Super Mario World hack, darn it! Haha!
I am super new to hacking (although I let's play them, I've got no skill in making them as of yet), and I have an issue which is probably easily resolvable.
For whatever reason, even though the Mario icon is placed on the ground after the midpoint for the midway entrace, when I actually die to test out the entrace, the screen is scrolled way up and only scrolls back down when Mario dies as he enters.
