Not gonna lie, I'm glad we're being loose with 'vanilla' here, as I'd rather see how far people can push the limits, rather then playing 40 samey levels (no offense to pure vanilla/water fans)

What the Hell?

Figured I'd share it here. Mind you, it's NOWHERE near as hard as what some of you crazies are doing - it's made to be playable without slowdown and there are no intended glitch exploits.

It's kinda messy and broken in parts, and some parts will totally be broken by some of you, but OH WELL. The difficulty is more Rise to the Challenge then 'pure kaizo', I think.

The man fault of my hack is the nonsensical difficulty curve - it's ramps up in level 3, then kind dips a bit and stays at that level, with the occasional spike.

There are videos around the youtubes with solutions if you need 'em.
To give an idea of how long this as been:

Seriously though, this is a TEAM hack. If you are not ready to at least give a weekly report on the progress of your level, you're not acting for the good of the team, and you deserved to be put on hold. No matter how super amazing your level is, being in a team = communication.
Dude, if you get it, it's your level, do whatever with it. As long as it's in a castle.

What is the distinction between green names and blue names?
I can't do something, like, "yo I reserve whatever left-over level nobody doesn't want", can't I?

Yeah, basically I see it as dude wants to make a not-end-world boss for his own level.
I'll have a grab at 12D or 131 then (considering my... reputation in level building, I'm playing it safe and taking a late level!)
I'd make a claim that it's in the wrong thread (speaking to riolu, way to go akward page change), but whatever. Stil got 12D just in case.
Mind you, I really only want one level - if the other stays free'd up, go ahead and assume I'll give it to you.

Man, I'm glad this passed.

Unexpected random gimmmicks is what makes these sorts of compilation games so fun to play. Like, it's even more fun because they are typically surrounded by 'normal' levels, so you really never know what to expect.

Fair enough, I think I mistook someone else's posting there for a voice of authority (it can happen! The hack had a fluctuation of authoritative voices during its history!)

I'm just... I guess I'm just kinda surprised that some people unironicaly believed it was totally fine to sign up for the hack, and then admit to starting working on it five months later.

No offenses meant! Just... befuddlement, I guess!
Are there anyone at all using teleport blocks?
But I mean, in the actual MAP16 thing. It feels silly go to through the whole MAP16 request rigamarol for a single block to have teleport on, so I figured I'd ask if anyone else already had put it in there.
